Great work on getting everything together! I really like the direction that was taken with the system changes. I'm curious to learn how it will influence the shape of the game.

A special compliment on the video that you put up. I think it does a great job of putting some extra perspective on the written materials for this year.

Very cool concept presented to all organizers involved! Well done! The prompt and setting are extremely open-ended allowing for such creative invention around the clever situation at hand, and tying our characters into an unlimited setting of history and potential. With your.... hmmm interesting, plot hook and few established landmarks I think we can come up with all sorts of cooperate shady involvements (my goodness!), humanity moral dilemmas, and acts of nobility to preserve our troubled human race, indeed.

Haha, especially like the names of the corporations... They sound quite familiar. I think I have worked with some of them in the past...

And I hope all of us are able to own a robo-dog like the one in the pic. How delightful.

From personal experience, I can state that people tend to view their pets as part of the family, and often the pets view themselves as Human.

Hello all. Think I've got a basic app up for review.

Well well... one week in, and we have had 0 Qs come up in the rules thread. Either people are just familiar enough with the Outplay system now that we are in the 3rd year, or it is simplified enough this time around to keep the basses covered. That, or everyone is waiting till the last minute to ask.

In any case, we have enough apps posted, (albeit in a WIP status) to run a bracket. That is a good sign this early on.

Once apps are made public, we will have something like Fu's Bar open, for competitors and anyone else that would like a free-form roleplay between rounds. It will be something like a Holodeck in Star Trek.

I'm not trying to nit-pick but in the info thread when it says, "Physically, they are bipedal beings standing approximately seven feet tall. Their slender and agile bodies feature elongated limps, shimmering, iridescent skin that displays a range of vibrant colors, and luminescent eyes that some say exhibit a profound wisdom." It ought to read, "...elongated limbs," correct? My mind keeps trying to make it, "elongated lips," which makes me giggle and might not be wrong since these are aliens. The contrast between wise eyes and floppy lips is just humorous.

I suppose, "elongated limps," could actually be correct too, do they just have a funny gait?
