I think I'll probably go for it. Even if it doesn't buy David everything he wants, it gets David in the room and gives him enough cover to speak freely without worrying that Mraak is gonna shoot him.

@Bhelogan - Can I say there's a shard of glass or scrap of sharp metal here? Maybe David broke a window when he staggered out into the hall?

Yeah... it feels like we've kinda been toying with this idea for a while. Personally I've been wondering since week 2 if David would find some sort of redemption or deeper understanding (elements of hypocrisy have been part of his design since the beginning). But it looks to me now like his story's heading the other way, and I think that's the better conclusion to pursue with how little time we have left.

@Qiksilv - I don't want to step on your toes too much, but I realize my plan is pretty undiplomatic. Do you think you prefer how your diplomacy comes off if I post my action before or after you?

I am also just sitting down to write. I can probably be done in the next two hours if you'd like me to go first. Else I can wait to go after. I don't think my post probably changes too much no matter what you do, unless you do something that's very likely to result in Mraak not having the gun anymore.

My picture is that Issa's down in the engineering room, and her punch knocked me out of the engineering room into the hallway. You all saw me in the hallway, and I saw you from there through the open bridge door.

My plan is to go into the engineering room, get her, and then go to the bridge with her as a human-oid shield.

To be clear, you're preferring that I post first? I'll try to have it done quickly so you have time.

And David's not going to go for the gun if Mraak puts it down. He wants Sam to take it. In his head Sam must be bluffing and is going to use the gun to shoot Mraak. That's probably not how it's going to go, but that's what David wants to happen.
