Yeah,.. well it's a good thing I've got two tries at it, if althazars 21 DC fails then a 31 DC from Monzoul,.. also I believe that second one might call for a death from massive damage check

This from a DC 16 Hold Person? Raunchel, what a time for the dice to fail!

@Raunchel, Are the goblins small in size? What are the negative effects of that size difference?
Also, Assuming they're just outside of Oz's reach, if he takes a step in any direction, if they backup, that would create an AoO on each?

Also, Alexader, if you do fly off with his body, please bring it back.
An animated zombie version of their leader will do wonders for their morale...

It could not have come at a better time, Monzoul was already down to about 55 pct health...

Well, he did pass the saves somehow, but is badly hurt. And now he also passed the hold person save. As you can see his friends are also rushing in to help their boss.
Goblins are indeed small, which means that they have +1AC and +1 to hit. Not much to worry about of course. If you approach to stand directly next to them they will need more than a 5 ft step to get away, and will give you AoO's.

But don't I get negative effects when trying to hit them? Like, trying to hit a fly?

Your negative effect is that they have +1 AC due to size.

When making a full round attack, you can attack, see how the dice roll, then specify what you attack with your second attack.
Is this the same functionality of Flurry of Blows?

I think that it is working in the same way, but I usually don't really care about it, toherwise it just takes too long.

Btw, I know the sorceror and warlord switched places I am assuming with the teamwork feat. But, I dont remember anything in your descriptions about the sorcerer backing up. If she is within 10 feet then Monzoul owes her like three AoO's for her wand usages...

@epej
Flrry of blows can only be used against a single target, so one goblin would have to defend against all the attacks from flurry of blows, if you kill him after your first hit its kinda bad because you can't do anything else with your remaining attacks. if you want to attack two or more targets you have to use your regular attack bonuses so if you have a +6/+1 BAB then you can attack two targets.

Wow thats news to me,... but then it is probably news to Piazo as well...
Flurry of Blows Starting at 1st level, a monk can make a flurry of blows as a full-attack action. When doing so he may make one additional attack using any combination of unarmed strikes or attacks with a special monk weapon (kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, and siangham) as if using the Two-Weapon Fighting feat (even if the monk does not meet the prerequisites for the feat). For the purpose of these attacks, the monk's base attack bonus from his monk class levels is equal to his monk level. For all other purposes, such as qualifying for a feat or a prestige class, the monk uses his normal base attack bonus. At 8th level, the monk can make two additional attacks when he uses flurry of blows, as if using Improved Two-Weapon Fighting (even if the monk does not meet the prerequisites for the feat). At 15th level, the monk can make three additional attacks using flurry of blows, as if using Greater Two-Weapon Fighting (even if the monk does not meet the prerequisites for the feat). A monk applies his full Strength bonus to his damage rolls for all successful attacks made with flurry of blows, whether the attacks are made with an off-hand or with a weapon wielded in both hands. A monk may substitute disarm, sunder, and trip combat maneuvers for unarmed attacks as part of a flurry of blows. A monk cannot use any weapon other than an unarmed strike or a special monk weapon as part of a flurry of blows. A monk with natural weapons cannot use such weapons as part of a flurry of blows, nor can he make natural attacks in addition to his flurry of blows attacks. I don't see anything there about a single target. |
