There are some interesting pair up that can happen in this game. Like one as you said or for example, Fey party!!! gnome, sprite, half-elf and some others!

I am keep studding the PF 2e options and it seems I am beginning to shape how Lando will be. If I don't get choose, at least I have a character ready for the next time!

The spell part can be overwhelming and the spell are so different compared to d&D 5e. It seems that magic in PF is not as powerful as it is in D&D 5e. But the game seems so balanced that I am getting a nice vibes from it, I realized that PF 2e really focus in teamwork and barely any character cannot impose over the party as the most powerful or that over specialization does not separate too much to the ones that preffer RP over optimization. I like some feat options to built interesting character.

One thing I am concerned is about downtime, I would really like to RP Lando making normal activities to earn an income and also, I quite find hard to do it getting some lore skill and I think I barely know the importance of it so I feel lost in what kind of lore my character should get. I wanted to make money with an knowledge, especially with his obsession with elven jewelry. What king of lore can be mach with it? THe only thing I found close how he might end in that is with the feat bargain hunter so he can use diplomacy to earn money buying and selling jewelry. I also wanted to instead of buying a bracers of armor,, I would like to revamp it as earring of protection that will have the same features.

I downloaded the Pathbuilder mentioned in the thread, and started reading last night. (I'm also new to 2e) but there appeared to be so many applications already that I wasn't sure how a Halfling Detective would fit in.

Well, you bought me a drink, so ask what you'd like. 'Where am I from?' Can't you tell? I have an accent, I have clothes, I have scars, are you serious? No, no, I'm sorry, come back. I've been on the road, I'm rusty. Two drinks? Now we're talking. Or, I am. Oi, watch the hands!

Someone once said "With great powers, comes 'shut up'". Actually, my brother said that. Mostly, because I was always telling Mom when he sneaked out the window to go play with his gambling buddies. Actually, a lot of people told me to 'shut up.' I was an observant kid, and I liked to prove that I knew things by opening my mouth and telling people. Let me tell you, that got me a lot of bruises before I learned to keep my mouth shut. Otherwise, I was your typical girl growing up. I read a lot of books. I asked a lot of questions. That got me more bruises. I figured out when to stop asking questions.

My brother sold me into a gang to pay off his debts. I was chained to a wall until I agreed not to run away, then trained for burglary. I'm small, obviously, and back then, I was even tinier. I could fit in places. Open windows from the inside, that sort of thing. Eventually, I talked myself into a cut of the loot. Time passed. We started making the good money.

Get too successful and people want to muscle in. Gang on gang war. Our side lost. I saw what was coming and got out. Wandered the roads for a bit. On my last legs, I showed up to a job interview with this wealthy guy looking for a secretary. I know how to read and write, so I applied. Turns out, this guy was a detective and wanted an apprentice. Well, it also came with three square meals and a good set of clothes. Some respectability too. I learned a lot from him, and he didn't hit me for asking questions. It also helped that I could relate to the fairer people and go places that he could not. We caught a lot of rats in my time with him, but I wanted something more. I wanted to travel, see the world, and find some place to settle down that has a lot of books. Maybe open my own agency and have people work for me.

So a bit more than you probably wanted to hear, but hey, two drinks I didn't have to buy.

A tanned halfling about two and a half feet tall stands off to the side. She wears surprisingly clean but worn traveling clothes and sturdy boots. A large floppy hat covers short-cropped hair, making her look almost bald. Despite her stillness, her brown eyes dart around, rarely landing on any object for long. Just to chime in on the brainstorming... If Kaspar gets in I think he'll be focusing on social and medicine in the skill department.

I'm hoping the 'actually a giant spider' backstory will be a fun angle to work from. Potential high-level character goal: Become popularly, if not officially, recognized as Spider Pope. (Does whatever a spider-pope does!)

The only thing that annoys me is that you have to manually reset money and gear every time you go shopping on that thing which requires learning you only get 15 gold to start. I went Inquisitor’s kit which was pathfinder kit, three weapons, and studded leather armor, but it took me three times through to notice it didn’t give money back when you delete something, and auto selects it when you click to read it.

I don't believe it does the auto selecting if you're using it on the computer instead of the mobile app. Never tried the mobile app though, since I bought the pc version already.

Put a bit more into my app, although there's still more to go. The basic story is that Nova didn't handle the discipline in the school well and ended up thrown out, even though she was talented with the actual magic.
