I'm hoping the 'actually a giant spider' backstory will be a fun angle to work from. Potential high-level character goal: Become popularly, if not officially, recognized as Spider Pope. (Does whatever a spider-pope does!)

I was thinking to doing the same but I suppose my main role will be in social and my Eidolon will be an extra explorer/scouting! :P

Elspeth Sibylla Name: Elspeth Sibylla Class: Sorcerer (Elemental - Air) Ancestry and Heritage: Sylph Background: Nomad Description: Elspeth is a young sylph of 19 years, with a slender, fey-like build. Her white hair billows around her face, floating seemingly of its own volition, and resembles a fluffy, white cloud. Her skin is a pale blue and etched with beautiful white swirls. Her eyes are a piercing blue. Elspeth prefers to dress in demure, simple clothing, usually white, in order to not draw any more attention to her already dramatic appearance. Backstory: Elspeth was born in Brassfield to a human mother, the product of her mother's dalliance with a djinni. Such dalliances were generally frowned upon, and Elspeth was born to a great deal of stigma. As a result, her mother was shunned and looked down upon in Brassfield society. As a child, Elspeth tried to fit in, but she was bullied by her peers, who knew the story of her origins. Already shy by nature, the young sylph further retreated into herself and became quite lonely and unhappy. One day, while she was walking home from school, she was ambushed by a group of bullies who chased the terrified Elspeth, pelting her with stones and hurling insults. Terrified for her life, a dam inside the young sylph broke, and she unleashed her powers for the first time. Lightning arced from her body, and a bolt struck one of the bullies directly in the chest, killing him. Horrified and guilt-stricken, Elspeth ran away from home, living a hand to mouth existence as she just tried to survive. Now nineteen, young Elspeth has returned to Brassfield to seek out her mother, whom she has missed terribly. Upon arriving at her old home, however, she discovered that her mother is very sick. She arrived just in time to be there for her mother on her deathbed from the wasting disease. Heartbroken and alone, and still feeling very guilty over the dramatic and lethal emergence of her powers, Elspeth hopes to find her purpose in life. She hopes more than anything to find a place where she feels she belongs. Her return to Brassfield, however, has not gone unnoticed, and the family of the boy she killed plots their revenge against the young sylph.

My goodness, there are so great PC with so great backgrounds... I wonder if I would get the chance to play the summoner. I began to like the class but The thing I like more is the possibilities that the DM have with the Otherworldly mission background. Also, I love to get driven by the mystery of a voice inside Landordas' head and the kind of development he could have and how the gnome is the perfect ancestry for that.

How open are you to the idea of multiple applications from the same player? I've been reading through/across all the classes and can't stop thinking of new characters I'd like to play.
