I save mine as PDF and upload them to drive.google.com (if you already have a google account, then you automatically have a google drive account), and then I can just drop the link to the PDF on the forum.

Nevermind I figured it out. I mistakenly had put points into the wrong skills. Used pistols but had a machine pistols which is under automatic.

I am looking over my character sheet and I think I missed something while reading. For instance my guy has Pistols skill 3 and agility 3 so a pool of 6 for pistols. Then the weapon shows a pool of 2. Do I add those together when firing the weapon for a pool of 8 or did I goof something up and somehow only have a pool of 2 for my weapons?

Does that weapon have a smartlink?

Otherwise it sounds like a program issue presuming you are using Chummer? A program I am unfamiliar with for 5e.

I am using Chummer, but the problem was I had a machine pistol and put points into pistols instead of automatic. Once I fixed it the pool went up.

And yes it has smartlink.

Using Chummer, how do you add money and equipment to the character once you gain new stuff while playing. My guy was just given some money but not sure how to add it to the program.

I only have Chummer for 4th edition so it may not be the same but after you have switched the character from creation mode to active mode there may be a tab called Karma and Nuyen. If there is click on that and you can add it in there as well as the date you got it and why.

Yamaneko is correct, you switch your runner to career mode and then there are options for adding cash and karma rewards as well as places to add new contacts and adjust things like street cred and public awareness as the game progresses

I have a fly spy drone but am trying to figure out how to make rolls while jumped into it. Am trying to spy on a building while staying hidden and using camera and other upgrades to check the place out.

VEHICLE MCT Fly-Spy (Minidrone)
HANDLING 4
ACCEL 2
SPEED 3
PILOT 3
BODY 1
ARMOR 0
SENSOR 3
CM 7
SEATS 0
DEVICE 3
SR5
Realistic Features Rating 2
[Model] Evasion Autosoft Rating 3; [Model] Maneuvering Autosoft Rating 3; [Model] Stealth Autosoft Rating 3; Sensor Array Rating 3 with Atmosphere Sensor, Camera 3, Geiger

What would I use for the checks and what does CM stand for?

Your initiative is modified as per pg 266 VR and Rigging when jumped in.

Your limits are expanded as per the next section: Rigging and Limits.

As you are the active pilot, you would use your actual piloting skill as appropriate to the drone, in this case Pilot Aircraft with the modified handling as your limit and the same with staying hidden, you would use your infiltration skill pool with the modified handling as the limit for successes.

(Some GMs do prefer to use piloting instead of infiltration as a house rule so it is best to check with them.)

Perception tests would use the modified Sensor rating as the limit.

Technomancers replace the appropriate attribute with their matrix equivalent for these skill tests.

The skill checks also depend on what obstacles will be in the way.

CM stands for Condition Monitor.

Do you have Rigger 5?

When I assigned my priority for nuyen, it gave me cash to spend. I don't know how to spend karma fur skills or attributes, or convert it to nuyen

If using the Chummer program, when you look at the skills there are two columns of numbers to the right of the skill name with up and down arrows. The first is used to spend skill points for the skill, the second is used for karma points.

To convert it to nuyen I believe it is on the common page in the upper right corner.

Quick question. Could I load the Virtual Machine software into the drones directly or would that be in his RCC? Just trying to think of a way to get some more software into the drones. Currently I can fit two programs into them but with Virtual Machine I can add another two. And now that brings up does the Virtual Machine take up one? If so them it basically only really lets me run one more program.

My Gm said you can try, you can always try. Not sure what that meant?????

Yes you may put virtual machine on there and it would take one slot giving you three total. Just keep in mind the penalties associated with the use of the virtual machine program.

You can also turn one slot into two on the RCC if you'd rather do it that way.

They're probably just being ominous or threatening you with matrix damage to exploit virtual machine negatives
