Eh, the narrative conceit is more of a 'within reason' idea. You've got enough cash to get by. It's not meant to allow hand-waving of big bags with dollar signs printed on them. I'd say you've been coasting by on what you fleeced from RayJay but it's not going to let you make any big purchases on its own.

Not that you can tell, they just seem to be checking that they're powered down.

It's no secret I'm behind on posts for various reasons. And my work has just ramped up for the next few days, so it's not going to get any better.

I'll effectively be on sabbatical until next weekend (i.e. a little over a week from the date of this post). I may still be around, but it likely won't be regular, and I cannot promise any game posts or meaningful updates for that time.

FYI, I'm currently very swamped with Outplay, which has put most of my games into high waters. Right now is a week for the judges, so hopefully I'll be able to respond for Aisha because I know she would naturally converse with this fellow. So Mike is going to be interested in taking down the OC in this reality. His time with them was emotionally scarring.

Aisha wouldn't mind doing that. But I think for now she's unaware that this is Mike's plan. How clear would she be about his feelings on the OC?

I'm pretty sure Mike would've mentioned the story about the time he spent in an OC cell while tripping out on mushrooms. He also frantically activated a jauntbox mulitple times without any clear direction. Number one item on the "worst nights of his life" list by a wide margin. Overall Mike is terrified of the OC, but he wouldn't mind the opportunity to take them down a notch.

I'm still trying to work out how best to demonstrate how Aisha's simulations are able to take her to the point of prescience, seeing as me the player isn't all that prescient myself. I think this might be a good moment in which Aisha might be able to come to a very likely result about "what is Mike going to do next", at least eventually. I think she wouldn't calculate anything like that quite at this moment in time, but I think a bit down the line it would be neat if I could narrate such a prediction. While Aisha is strong at profiling people, I think it's a bit beyond her means to immediately deduce that Mike is hoping for an opportunity to get back at the OC. But once opportunities arise for him to actually take such a course of action, I think it would be cool if this realization emerges as a strong possibility among Aisha's calculations.

By the way, I have a small little oracle in mind that Aisha has already computed. It's nothing major if we play it right, but also she can't say it in front of that stranger. Hopefully I won't forget to bring it up once the time is good.
