There are multiple things with your character sheet that need to be resolved. For starters, Force-Sensitive give you 2 at-will force powers, but I don't see these listed on your sheet anywhere. Secondly, while you added Pilot and Lore to the Skills/Proficiencies, you missed (at a minimum) Technology. Please make sure all of the skills are accounted for, whether or not you are proficient. Also, please list out the equipment in the Explorer's pack. If it isn't on your sheet, even if you have a pack listed that it should be part of, you don't have it. Finally, where did you pick up Jar'Kai from? I don't see anything in your character that shows you should have a lightsaber form...but I'm old and blind, so it's possible I missed it! To your point about only Force-Sensitive applications: If this turns out to be a solo game, I will kill the game before it starts. I get that everyone wants to play Jedi, but that's not what this game is about. If all that applies are Jedi, then the game won't happen. |

Eavesdropping a bit, updated my character sheet to list out the contents of the explorer's pack.
I doubt you'll get only Jedi applications. There are many who find spacers, mandos, and crack pilots, etc. more interesting than space wizards. Heck, I'm surprised there aren't more Mandalorian applications already, as that was a tempting alternative, since this is literally the era when Mandalorian culture was at its prime, not a secret cult or an aesthetic cobbled together from memory, tradition, and mythology. Plus in the wake of the Mandalorian Wars and the looming Sith threat there were Mandos who sided (however temporary that may have meant to be) with the Republic against a common enemy and these fraught alliances and the harboring of old animosities is fertile ground for good RP. Hopefully I'm not proven wrong, but there will be more non-jedi applications! |

Jal Vik
Name: Jal Vik
Race: Human Class/Subclass: Engineer, Armormech (eventually) Mechanical Background: Mandalorian (Weapon Expert) Trait: I keep a small trophy on me to remind me of a past victory Ideal: I live by my clans ways, and will continue to do so Bond: Honor is everything to me Flaw: I'll stick to my traditions no matter what, even at the cost of others Appearance: What people see of Jal is his armour, as it would never come off in public. He bears the traditional colours of blue and gold as is custom for the Vik clan, and his weaponry holds the same colours too. His left shoulder is currently bare as he is awaiting his first major kill to signify him as a full adult member of his clan, but the small scratches on his armour speak of someone who's at least a skilled warrior Personality: Jal is quiet, but not because he's a grim and edgy loner type. Instead he's just more than happy to let people talk while he works on his latest project for his armour or his combat abilities. He's very firm in his ways, not wishing to deviate from his clan at all, but that hasn't stifled his inventive skills and improvisational talents. Always a man with a plan, and one that won't sacrifice his allies if possible, he's got a hidden heart of gold and most importantly a sound mind Backstory: Jal crew up among the clan of Vik, Mandalorians who despite being mercenaries had a surprisingly intense code of honour even by Mandalorian standards. Any oath they took they would stake their life on, and accomplish it or die trying. Naturally the first any took was to uphold the clan and its traditions above all, but they had many binding oaths to other clans or individuals who helped the Vik clan in the past, as well as members of the clan taking on personal oaths or contracts with various members of the galactic conflict. Sometimes this lead to members of the clan being on opposite sides of a conflict and even killing each other due to their staunch traditions, but they always made sure to bring their bodies back to the Vik clans home and bury them with all the proper honours a warrior who died in battle deserves. Not being the best warrior among his peers growing up, Jal found himself relying on a mix of intellect and improvisation to win his fights and win them he did. Many nights he could be found alone, tinkering away with his armor, weaponry, and some tech he cobbled together in order to gain an advantage over his peers. As a result he proved a slightly strange but very capable Mandalorian warrior and at the age of 18 was sent out into the galaxy in order to prove himself alone, so that he would not be a burden but instead an asset to his clan and people. During his ventures he's mostly hunted small prey, a minor thief here or a rogue beast there, but now he's craving a bigger fight, something worthy of a Mandalorians time.... RP Sample: Jal watched his prey with patience. He'd been searching through the jungle like terrain for the young rogue Varactyl that had been terrorising the farmers for some time, ripping through their crops and livestock alike. His fingers were the only thing moving, adjusting his Wristlauncher flamethrower as he worked out a way for it to orbit the fire around him, his mind kept busy as his natural instincts took over. Time passed unnoticed as he watched the entrance to the farm, knowing this was the entrance it always took and that he was well hidden from it. Finally, after many moments the Varactyl decided now was the time to make a move. Its mistake. He dropped down on it from above and in one clean motion cleaved its head from its body He gathered up the corpse and returned to the farmer with a nod, who seemed more than happy to pay him for his work now that the beast was dealt with "Thank you kind sir, you've done a lot for us. Now we can get back to our livelyhoods" Jal nodded, not really wanting to speak but he did hold out his hand for the payment, just a little awkwardly "A yes, one second" The farmer handed him over the collective funds him and the other farmers nearby put together, to which Jal nods again his time in appreciation and leaves, taking with him a broken part of the beak with him as a trophy of his kill Tool Proficiencies (Because I am dummy and forgot to add them): Cybertech's Implements, Armormech's Implements, Tinker's Implements Last edited by Roxxdude; Nov 6th, 2024 at 04:29 AM. |

And I've got some feedback this morning!
@BlackDragon0 Thank you for updating your sheet! I've marked you as finished! @Roxxdude Can you help explain how you ended up with your attributes? The standard array is 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8, and I'm failing to do the math on how you ended with 18, 14, 14, 12, 12, 8. You'd need to get +3, +1, and +2 (15+3=18, 13+1=14, 10+2=12), and I cannot see how that is done. @Mitsubachi Don't worry about you applying with the same concept or class as someone else. Everyone will have the chance to shine in this game! |

Jayma is ready for review. The site character sheet link is in her name, and the pic links to the SW5 online character sheet.
