We could mess with NPCs and all talk in unison like the hive mind. ^^
Phil if it ever comes to a point where you have no other option but to give Rajh an extra basic attack, I'm fine with you rolling. His basic attack is horrible but out of the numerous feat taxes I was forced with choosing from, the AC boost trumped melee training. All of his powers use Dex and target NADs so basic attacks had to suffer. |

This is gonna be interesting indeed.
I am waiting on one more possible player. Whether we get one or not, the story will continue tomorrow evening. I am looking forward to seeing what each of you can do. ...and what I can do to all of you... |

We have our full party of seven. The story thread will now be updated with a dm post for the results of all of your choices.

Hey everyone! Glad to be part of the team! I look forward to interacting with all of you
This is my first PbP session but I've got someone guiding me through the ropes and tricks so I hope to do you all justice! Unfortunately, I have to get going to work. I'll be posting a character sheet first chance I get this evening though! Adios! |

How about that. Everyone picked a different choice. One for each of the five, one to pick everyone, and one to pick no one. What an amazing coincidence.
I must say I am curious to see how much you can figure out about the significance of the five representations. It plays a key role in the game later, as do the flashes of items that appeared in your hands. But for now, we are in flash-back mode for battle, which starts us off at the 4e intro adventure that this campaign is named for. How fun. |

There's a fun thing about shardminds (Quartcyre and technically Shard) that might go overlooked and is worth mentioning: they glow. From the PHB3:
"This inner light sheds dim light in a shardmind's space, but a shardmind individual can squelch the light with an instant's concentration - in order to hide in the dark. for example." I don't know about Shard, but Quartcyre's glow is definitely active. Last edited by Lint of Death; Apr 18th, 2010 at 12:06 PM. |

Since the monsters are not on the map, I'm guessing we do not see them, either?

I'll note that I quenched my glow as a free action in my last post.

I will have to post my action in the morning. Have been running around trying to close on a new place today. I know what I want to do but I can't pull iplay4e.com up on my phone to check my sheet.

I am unsure of the rules on posting out of initiative order, care to clarify?

Skry, in your post you took an extra move as your standard. Therefore you would not be able to ready an action (requires a standard).

Poor wording.
The "readied action" is a triggered action immediate interrupt. I put it there for the DM to know that if the trigger hits, that action should follow. In effect, I'm not readying an action as per readied action rules. I'm just noting it as an action that should be taken if the trigger happens. |
