Posting interest! I'll be writing up an app and editing it into this post within the next couple of days. I'm thinking of playing a melee Falconer Ranger who's an aging, grizzled militia leader that can help the party with navigation, survival and warfare.

Thanks for comments on deity, much appreciated.

I also have a few more questions if you don't mind.

Are there fey creatures in the setting (or analogues)?
Is there a druid "organization" that controls large geographic regions, or are druids more independent and/or in localized groups?
I assume dinosaurs are not going to be found in the area we're going to be based?
Does this world exist in a planar cosmology and is travel between planes possible and/or known about by the general populace?

Currently planning at a caster druid, and just trying to narrow down some of the 3,495,353 options.

@Exylrei: Sounds Good to me
@Firecat: feys yes. Druids are organized in small circles, i.e not a powerful organization. In the heartlands they are at risk to be persecuted by church of Praios. While dinosaurs do exist, they live far far away... no replacement AC guaranteed of their kind. Planes are not in scope of the campaign. They do exist if it comes to the question of where are/live the gods (plane is called Alveran) and summon spells. Elements and Djinns live in their elements... not in another plane, however

I'm very sorry to tell you that I have to withdraw my announcement for an application due to a lack of time.
The weeks are full and even the weekends feel more like a lunch break with quick shopping instead of lunch.

Appearance: She stands only 5’6” and weighs a measly 125lbs, but her body is hard and toned from years of training. Her piercing green eyes contrast to her bright burning red hair that flows down her back. She has pale skin which seem contrary to all the time she has spent outdoors. She isn’t pretty nor ugly, but the average looking girl.

Personality: She is outgoing and opinionated. Always looking out for those less fortunate. She is a defender of the land and creatures that live upon it as an agent of Rondra. She is judge, jury and if need be, the wrath of the faith of Rondra.

Background: She was born into a family of rangers and warriors of Rondra in the land known as the Wildermark. She was trained at a young age to live and survive off the land and to protect it. Her calling was a bit different from her parents. She became neither a ranger nor a warriors, but an inquisitor for Rondra. She would be his special weapon to deal with those who were deemed unworthy.
When word went out that Brother Travinor, a priest of Travia was planning to build a temple and sow the blessed seeds, Rondra guided Azrael to protect the caravan and insure its safety.

Just saw we already have a grizzled war vet as well as a lot of melee action, mixing it up a little bit! The new overview is a slightly less grizzled hunter turned mercenary who's a bow-wielding Skirmisher ranger.

Bennett Godwin

Race: Elf
Class/Archetype: Skirmisher Ranger
Alignment: Neutral Good, leaning TN

Personality: As an elf raised by human parents, Godwin took on most of the values and tendencies of his adopted culture; he is pragmatic, resourceful and stoic. He mostly keeps to himself, though in today's dark times he's quickly finding cooperation to be a better alternative to solitude. He is level headed, slow to anger and tends not to stress about the little things. When interacting with the few friends and family members he's close with, Godwin is dry, quick-witted and fatherly, if not overprotective. His flaws manifest themselves on the rare occasions when he loses his temper; he becomes stubborn, quick to resort to violence and often leans towards morally gray solutions to solve his problems.

Background: Bennett Godwin, once lovingly known as "the only sharp-ear in town", was raised by a poor human farmer and his wife in a small village on the edges of the Darpatian principality. He'd never seen his true elven parents; when he was born they simply walked into town, placed their newborn on the step of a farmstead and left. Bennett luckily found himself in the home of a loving family who embraced him as one of their own. He spent his youth working in the fields with five other siblings and learning how to hunt with his father.

Going into adulthood Godwin took on hunting full-time, using the few silver pieces he'd earn at work to support the farm. He would court and eventually marry a human woman, Agatha, a strong willed and vibrant priestess of Travia who'd known Bennett since they were toddlers. Together they'd have a bright-eyed half-elf girl, Leila, who took after her father in her work, her looks and her personality. While his life was idyllic at the time, inevitably, Bennett would be faced with the unfortunate side effect of an elf's long lifespan. His aging slowed while his family members grew old and passed away; first his parents, then his siblings, then his beloved wife. Each new generation of relatives became more estranged to Bennett as the years went by, and as decades passed the town he once knew was filled with a new wave of people who hardly knew him. When Leila was the last person in his life, she too left in search of greater purpose, signing on as a professional soldier in the Imperial army. Since that day, Godwin hadn't seen or heard from his only child.

Soon after, his homeland would soon begin to crumble as tragedy after tragedy befell Darpatia, forcing him to join the town's militia to defend against marauders, bandits and all manner of unholy creatures. As the elder of the town he quickly took charge, leading the village's defense and coordinating preemptive strikes against those who sought to destroy them. Though they weathered dozens of attacks over the following years they could only withstand so much before the village was sacked by bandits. It's people fled, scattering across the Wildermark, along with Bennett.

He began taking on oddjobs and mercenary work to sustain himself as living alone in the wilderness became more and more dangerous. Eventually, after months of mindless work, he would sign onto an inconspicuous job; protect a caravan for a few weeks in exchange for food and meager pay, headed by a priest of Travia no less. Bennett signed on, heart heavy as he began longing for a new place to call home.

Kingdom Building: Bennett is a skilled hunter and survivalist, and has plenty of experience leading an ill-equipped militia against a superior foe. While not versed in true battlefield warfare, he's more than comfortable using guerilla tactics to win a fight. Overall his main contributions would be to exploration, survival and war.

Character Sheets: Bennett is 99% done, definitely ready for review though! I also have a sheet for Egret, his wolf companion.

The only thing I'm not 100% set in stone on is Bennett's favored terrain and enemy. Is Darpathia/the Wildermark mostly forest or would plains or hills fit better? Also, is humanoid (human) a solid bet for favored enemy, or should I look into other options? (Undead?)

Other than that, he's good to go for review!

@ Exylrei: Wildermark will be both plains and forest with hills only at its borders. About favored enemy any civilised humanoid may be seen in in Wildermark, dwarves will be more rare, human more frequent. Undeads have plagued the lands few years ago. It's unlikely they are completely gone.

@Clawsome: the game takes place in a campaign world with a specific pantheon . Today I completed the listing of the most important gods in Aventuria (so you didn't miss it, I was late). As indicated Brother Travinor is sponsored by The Order of the Three Sisters, which are Travia, Peraine and Tsa (all of them deities listed in the linked post). However, any of the twelve gods may have send a follower to support Travinor's quest.

The Green Thumb of Wildermark - a half-orc oracle

Appearance:
Ausk still looks younger than usual for his age due to his very clean green skin. As a result of his poor childhood he seems like looking agressive even if he's enjoying himself and smiling. His emerald green eyes are usually evoking the feeling that YOU did something wrong. He wears his sautted mushroum brunette hair undercutted chin long and usually bound to a short pigtail. Sometimes he's to lazy for shaving resulting in different beard styles, but normally you meet him clean shaved.
The deprived first years of life have left their mark, so that Ausk has has not even grown to 6 feet for a short half-orc. Considering the fact the he grow up with violence he's wearing armor and his flacon quiete regular.

Personality:
Exposure to violence and deprivation through life in the Wildermark combined with the fact that he was more a burden than a gift to his perants didn't do the best to Ausk's personality. Even though, as one of his first experiences he did take care about a cat that he found tortued close to his house. Altough he tryed hard Ausk never did find the people who did that to this cat, but during his treatment of this even more misserable creature he developed a strong emotional binding to that cat. This was the starting point for his interesst in animals. Over the years he learned a lot about the circle of life and how mankind abused it. Therefore he makes quick friends with people respecting nature and altough he's more interessed in nature he's taking care about people at the lower end of society like he grow up himself.

Background:
Born in the small village in the heart of Bornland, Ausk seemed doomed to a short and miserable life as a slave. He went lucky as Ovuv Klaagrend past his, or better his parents way. Due to the fact that his parents were simply to poor to raise him properly they requested Ovuv to take care about Ausk. The growing old oracle acceped Ausk as help and altough the work was a lot and the treatment of Ovuv was hard over the years he developed to a drawing father for him.
He never could forgive his parents that they sent him away instead of his twinbrother. But he kept up contact with his uncle during his years of wandering around. Just shortly ago this uncle died and set him as a hire. During his way back to were he was born in order to accept his inheritance he met Brother Travinor. From the beginning he found in him a person that is very interessed in nature as well. Knowing his family would like to get their shares from that hire makes Ausk delay his travel as he preferd stay with his growing friend.
