The Future

Nobody's posted in six days, which has got me to thinking about the future. I can understand if you guys aren't as excited about this as you used to be. This play-by-post method is much slower paced than I anticipated. I imagine a large part of it's my fault as well. But even if you aren't interested in this game any more, there's still opportunities for collaborative online storytelling. Remember a while back I told you all about a world/campaign building tool called Obsidian Portal? The site is easy to use and there are many instructional videos to help you along.

So this is my proposal: We set to building a world that we can play in next time we all meet in the flesh. There's no obligation for regular posting; you can just drop in a few paragraphs a month if you so desire, or drop ten pages of text if inspiration strikes you. No one's the DM, and at the same time we all are. This could be anything we want. New races, new classes, otherworldly physics, it's all possible.

What do you say? Am I misreading the situation? Do you want to keep on the path we're on? Do you want to ditch this online thing wholesale? Or do you want to try this worldbuilding proposition?

I mean, I try and check it at least once a day, even if I cant think of what to post, and also yeah, its getting busy

It sounds like everyone's pretty busy. Why don't we put this on hold until we have a little more free time. Just post here when you're ready.

I think a large part of this is also that we (at least mike and I) don't really know what to say to this guy. We need our charismatic member to bandy words with him.
