Checking in.. some background..

Been gaming for more years than all of you have been around. I mostly DM and am a decent roleplayer. I did not go into his history as far as his childhood since we are all established and that type of background didn't seem as important as the present. I hope you will enjoy the posting in character once we start.

I am in Arizona so we do not change our time zone.. so now I am on PST, will be on CST once the time changes in the fall. I assume this will be important to know since we need to have our posts in by a certain time before Kira posts the results.

Sorry forgot to ask this.. The preferred weapon for my diety is the Unarmed Strike. Since everyone is proficient with this weapon, does that mean that clerics of Irori get the feat "Unarmed Strike" for free or possibly Weapon Focus in "Unarmed Strike"?

Background...hmmm. I've been on DnDO since 2004, I've been gaming off an on since I was 13 (so...12 years?) starting with ADnD, though I haven't played that for so long that I can hardly remember the rules except to admit I never did understand THACO.

I live here in Kansas, so I'm firmly entrenched in the good old Central time zone. I work mids until the end of this month, so my posting times are usually late at night. At the end of this month I'll be posting in the afternoon and evening more than the middle of the night, but it wont change my posting rate, which is about once per day give or take silly stuff the Army makes me do on my off time.

Hey everybody, darthcharon here. I can't say I've been playing d&d as long as you guys have, I only really started shortly after the release of 3.5, and I've only really used pathfinder for about six months (though I have fallen in love with the system in that time). I tend to work evenings, so you can expect posts from me either early morning, mid afternoon, or in the dead of night.

*yawn* Hi, I'm Darkshard, I'm in the UK (the game acceptances were posted at about 3:30am my time, and I only just woke up ) so GMT/GMT+1 (BST). I've been gaming for maybe ten years now. Which is a long time now I come to tot it up and realise it!

1) My character is a follower of Irori who is the God of history, knowledge which would make sense that he has reference materials with him
2) In game terms they are MW tools which add +2 to skill rolls... But they have to make sense why.. depending on the circumstance and how common the information, I'm sure Kira will tell me how long I have to look to get the bonus..

Yeah,, the books are useful in situations where you have time to reference the document. Say, 10 rounds or more, but are not useful during combat. You can't reference a book in 6 seconds.

I noticed that some of you have some items listed as lower price, than they really are. For example, I see that one of you has a Wand of Cure Serious wounds (50 charges) (5th CL) listed as only 4500gp. The price for wands is Spell level x Caster Level x 750gp = Price

The Cure serious wand would then be 3 x 5 x 750gp = 11,250gp

A wand of cure light is 1 x 1 x 750gp = 750gp

A wand of Cure moderate is 2 x 3 x 750gp = 3750gp

And a wand of Cure Critical would be 4 x 7 x 750gp = 18,750gp
