I'm assuming Vark made a 5' Step up to me on the last round?

Also, on my last post I accidentally added +5 to my attack when it should've been +4. It's a complete miss though, so I won't bother changing it.

Yes, he did, Ollie. I'll usually point out if you get an AoO (sometimes I might take it for you if it'll save time or is otherwise important - i.e. one hit might finish the critter off).

Yeah, polearms can be devastating. The reach aspect and lack of shield weighs it down a bit.

Something I just now noticed: The crossbowman provokes an AoO from Sticks when he makes a ranged attack! I'm not going to take my move back, but that's lucky for you. Definitely shows the power of reach weapons!

Resting and healing magic! Obviously if you've only lost 1 or 2 hp you'll probably just feel a bit tender in one spot, but if you've lost a lot of hit points you'll probably feel totally tired out, fatigued, maybe you've got bruises and superficial wounds and your armor is all beaten up and in good need of a refitting. A good night's sleep will make you feel better, and magic basically speeds up the natural healing process.

It's the same as usual, really, except you don't need to handwave away why you're not dead despite being stabbed in the chest three times in the last combat.
