I'm getting crushed at work, but I'll also get a post up tonight. Not feeling motivated to hammer out a novella, but who knows where I'll end up.

Before I post I should ask if I need to make any rolls for my update. Also should point out he's got a -2 to disguise for his terrible cha.

I think I know who the weak link in the plan is.

You have a hat off disguise on. Just don't they not to be overly vocal and you should be fine. You're pretending to be a cold after all. I think Nivian is basically another name tried human.

Makes two of us. In my defense, my group totally had a rather invigorating sea battle where we launched 3 small rowboats(2 of them carrying dangerous amounts of explosive gunpowder) and charged into battle against the equivalent of a ship of the line(which turned out to be animated), capturing it with out party of six after a grueling 3 and a half hours of RL gaming. It had an aura that was being given off by its captain, any nat 20s or other confirmed crits(even with skill checks) resulted in an automatic failure instead.

Fortunately for us, it affected them as well. We then went on to use our gunpowder to blow up the leg of a statue of liberty sized construct slowly marching inland. Just another day in Ravenloft. Shame our captured ship won't see much use due to the overall lack of water areas outside the bay.

Well, going to get my post up now.

I had a less than desirable day to put things mildly. I'm starting a set of four night shifts on Saturday and i've got a situation that won't see resolution until Monday. Don't expect anything from me until Monday.

I have an idea to try and defuse the situation: how does Voodoo feel about a lovers' spat? Let's pretend the ruby is part of Anansi's dowry and she is rather miffed at him offering it. So she'll start making a scene "how dare you? It was my mothers'.... You don't love me anymore et cetera et cetera."and then demand for the captain to come to them.

I suggest Voodoo rolls his eyes at the guards while Anansi is having her tirade.

I think that ad libbing part of the fun of this kind of exercise. Voodoo will follow whatever path Anansi provides.

However, would you accept a sleight of hand check to conceal a dagger in the hand, Ironwulf?

Copy this over from my recent post in Ray's game(I'm dead on my feet and about to collapse on my gloriously comfy new mattress)...

I'm really sorry guys, first time having a job in 2 years plus the hours got kicked into high gear two days ago(I'm now working when I'd normally be posting) and the amount of activity makes me really exhausted when I get home, Will try to post this weekend if I can't manage it before. As for why I didn't post during my three day weekend, I'm gonna be honest. I forgot completely. Whether that can be blamed on adjusting to work or not, doesn't really matter.

On a mild plus side, I finally upgraded to a smart phone, so I might be able to get basic posts up during Lunch Break.

I think Yuul was intoxicated when he wrote that post. Three dozen equals 36 not 18. So 36 plus the 7 of our party equals 43 people in a bar that only has room for three tables.

And he is in there telling everyone about our whole story, to the very dirtiest details. Including our motive for getting off the island.

I hope that my attempt at correcting the situation is acceptable. I tried to be gentle. I'm sure that Aethan would win in a fight against Voodoo so I refrained from making threats.

Anyway, hoping to reset the situation a bit without causing too many ripples.
