I think you planned to venture out but you were immediately given pause by the arrival of the strange shapeshifter. Feel free to move out and confront him or retain an element of surprise if you intend to ambush him.

You said the campsite was at least 500 feet away, I assumed that to be able to see such detail from the stranger we would have had to travel closer to the camp.

But I don't want to argue with you, it isn't that big of a deal. I will adjust my post.

Perhaps a fair point about the detail. Was just trying to add a little more to the imagery. Nevertheless, I wrote “fire couldn't have been more than 500 feet out from the cave”

Voodoo has more hp than Dwinn? What trickery is this?

Ray, just checking, have you been using the house rule that all HD rolls below half+1 (4 for d6, 5 for d8, 6 for d10, etc.) get upped to half+1?

I presume so... the difference isn't big enough to justify me going back and searching for all my hp rolls. If I vaguely recall correctly I ended up with half+1 once or twice. Without the house rule I'm pretty sure the difference would be much larger. If the dwarf died I'd be a little bit sad, but the dice gods smiled on Sprocket, and he's a beast of a replacement. I enjoy straightforward combat though. Swing axe at target until it dies is easy to manage.

I appreciate it Ray. I had a tough time actually locating a dice roll and my math didn't add up for just taking straight half+1. So I rerolled and now I have 53 HP instead of 60. I hope you are happy.

Unless Ironwulf is okay with me having the previous number trusting that I did in fact have some logical way of deriving it. It is listed on my sheet in multiple places. And I do have two classes with D12 HD. So maybe my rolls are buried in the 30+ pages of my Private thread. Who knows. I only looked through 13.

Heh, I didn't ask you to verify yours. That's on you.

Hell this is the first time I've noticed, and it just struck me as odd given the fact that Dwinn is straight fighter. Knowing me I've probably been misrolling less HD than I should.

What thread are you checking? The current dice thread doesn't go back to when I first joined.

It appears that at least three of my HP rolls have either been half+1 or lower. I can only find five of my HP rolls, and the remaining two rolls were both eight. Assuming max at first level there is still one roll unaccounted for, but I doubt it was stellar. Not bad, but certainly not great HP rolls either. 53 out of a possible 70 is okay I suppose.

Based on Gaths post, looks like both Dwinn and Landru will have to decide whether they will follow Voodoo out against his wishes.
