Are you sure it is alright? I trust you know your brothers taste and won't get me in trouble. as Aira once again was led off to the tayloring area. It doesn't take long before Aira once again was stripped down and naked before the taylor as he works his art on her flawless body. Last edited by kaylara; May 5th, 2014 at 09:55 AM. |

Rolling her eyes, "Worried that I'm going to dress you up like a courtesan, Aira? Please, not that you couldn't pull it off impressively," appraising her figure, "we're not of the tacky 'If you've got it, flaunt it' school of thought. No, we're going more for a 'radiant goddess' sort of gown but with just enough to make brother look forward to," smiling deviously, "you dragging him off to your lair alone for a couple days." A serious look crosses the siren's face with more than a touch of worry: "Bring him back in one piece, ok? Brother may seem invincible, but no matter what, we can't lose him, Aira."
The elven tailor is busy looking back between some of his patterns and Aira's figure while muttering various instructions to his assistants fetching fabrics. Katherine frowns pensively a bit before continuing: "I won't lie to you. This dress may have turned the McMahon heir into a speechless little boy, but brother ... Lord Galliberos is made of sterner stuff. Even mother isn't quite sure about his tastes. Still, what I wouldn't give to see just a little crack in that chivalric armor of his. That is what you want, isn't it, Aira?"

Aira gave a sigh of releif as she realized Lady Katherine's intentions. Lair? she perked a brow. I plan on taking him to my home. He will be safer with me during our trip than he is here.
I will be with him, you need not worry. He has a ring incase he should fall, he'll be fine, Besides, I could always heal him if need be. Aira stood there as the taylor worked his magic wondering if Lord Louis liked her current form, Do you think he will like me like this? as she motions to herelf. I could take on any form he desires. "I'll hold you to that, Aira. Prithee, make sure he makes it back."
Return to the lighter talk of prepping the heroine for tonight, "Aira, you look gorgeous already. I wouldn't worry," she answers, "If there is anything he'd prefer, I don't know about it. He hasn't spilled anything he particularly likes to me, and not for lack of trying, I'll tell you," rolling her eyes, "You can ask him, but he's just going to say that you're beautiful the way you are. Brother is not exactly going to ask you to augment your 'charms' for him," snorting amusedly. Katherine looks at her intensely for a moment and asks: "It's plain you don't mind my setting you up like this, and I doubt you're just humoring me. So, let's hear from you: What do you want brother to think when he sees you, Aira?"

Aira blushed slighty, He called me bold... Aira smiled as she thought Lady Katherine was even bolder.
It is hard to explain my feelings as the feeling I get when around him are new to me. I want him to be happy, to protect him and share everything, but... Aira's expression chaged to sadness as a moment of silence fell about her. I am nothing to him, no queen, not even a noble, just a..Oh, its nothing. she replied with a smile after a moment. So what's his favorite color? Perhaps I can wear it. Last edited by kaylara; May 5th, 2014 at 03:44 PM. |

"You said you liked straightforward," Katherine quips, before adding, "though my aunt doesn't have to know."
The rush of self-reflection spilling into sadness brings a sympathetic smile from the siren, who had sung countless songs echoing the same strain. "Aira, don't you know? The fitting room is a strictly enforced no sadness zone," she jests with a mock scold. Breaking into another warm smile, Katherine offers: "I doubt it's nothing, Aira, but you hardly need to sort out the details of your heart at the moment. We're putting a dress together. We can plan out the rest of your life later," giggling, "Now, I'm not sure about a favorite color, but brother likes the hues of precious metals; he might tell you why eventually. Still, the real question you need to answer here, Aira, is what thought do you want your outfit to evoke from him? It could be something as simple as 'beautiful' or 'ravishing' or the goddess theme I mentioned or a rose or a swan ... You get the idea," looking at her expectantly.

Lady Katherine and Aira spend most of the day trying on different things. How can it be this confusing... Eventually, Aira narrows the dresses down to a top three and asks Lady Katherine to also come up with a top three of her liking liked, so together they could choose the best from the six. An understanding smile spreads across Katherine's face as she listens. "More sense than you may think, Aira," her smile turning scheming, "and Waeltor is just that good. Look. If you weren't too busy gazing deeply into brother's eyes," her smirk teasing, "his scabbard looks like this." Katherine takes a pad and makes a quick ![]()

Aira breathes a sigh of relief, Thank you once again. As you can tell, this is not something I am use to. as she watched, waited, was poked and prodded, measured, dressed and undressed over and over.
Every now and then they took a break to have a drink to stay freshened up as Aira begins the usual inquiries. So what can you tell me about your brother? What kind of people attract him, how about things he likes, places to visit, things to do etc... |

Slowly but surely, the gown takes shape. During one of their breaks, the siren puts down her tea cup at the heroine's question: "Well, I'd say that brother is far too serious and has not nearly enough fun. However, that makes a list far simpler. He is a fine horseman and really enjoys riding. He says it's relaxing for him and lets him think about things. Also, don't let his gentle manner fool you; he's skilled with a sword and likes a good spar. Skilled partners are a bit tough to come by, though. As for gentler pursuits, early every morn you can find him in the the castle chapel. Most every evening, when he's not busy with matters of state, he enjoys reading."
Tapping her chin pensively, "Let's see. Like I said, I don't know what specially attracts him to a woman. But what sort will earn his friendship? Someone who cares, frankly. Someone with a good heart. Someone who takes duty seriously. Being candid also helps; he doesn't like forked tongues and has gotten rather good at picking them out."

Aira felt like she was at her home away from home. Having fun with the younger sister she never had. As the dress is completed, she takes a long look in the mirror. Is this me? she turns about showing off every bit of the masterpiece. A large smile crosses Aira's face as the battle worn maiden looks like a harmless young woman. She gives Lady Katrina a big 'strong' hug as if the small lithe Aira she was almost crushinge her. Thank you! Its so pretty. I never dreamed of anything like this. Its so nice to not have to battle something all the time. Then Aira realized what she was doing and loosened her hug. Oops sorry. Please forgive me. I meant no harm or disrespect of your personal space.
After a few moments, It's almost dinner time already? Wow where the time go? Guess I'm ready when you are mylady. Last edited by kaylara; May 6th, 2014 at 07:21 PM. |

"Need to breathe," Katherine chokes out before the giddy heroine drops her. Catching her breath and smoothing out her dress, the siren assures Aira: "No harm done, and don't you fret about personal space with me. Just gentler on my ribs next time." Checking the hour, "Why, you're right. Just in time." Appraising their handiwork a last time, "It's simply stunning. Thank you ever so much, Waeltor." After the gracious bow, the pleased master tailor takes his leave of the fitting room.
"Hm. I believe I promised you some shoes, and while I freshen up, we can see about some perfume and make-up for you. Come on," Katherine excitedly drags the heroine off. The two women arrive a little late to dinner, but fashionably so. Lord Galliberos and Lady Anastasia are already at the table, and the wonderful scent of roasted fowl fills the room.

Aira also thanked Waeltor as well before he departed and Aira dragged off for the final touches.
As they enter the dining room, Aira's dress is something the young lord has never seen. It was a perfect display of something he held dear and made Aira so beautiful. Aira tries her best to enter in a Dice diplomacy:
As she crossed the dining room, Aira looked almost perfect, then her shoe twisted. She was not use to heels and almost fell. A fall like that would rip her dress in two, however, her excellent dexterity and warrior reflexes prevent a disaster. With a little bit extra red on her face, Aira gives a bow to the family before taking her seat. Thinking to herself, That's just perfect Aira, there you go. Everything was all set and you almost ripped the dress in two tripping over a heel. That's the wrong impression to give... Some things are much harder than on the battle field. Aira calmly stated as she gave a warm smile. Aira was happy to be there regardless of what happens, but she couldn't help to wonder what thoughts are racing thru his mind as she waits for conversation to start. Katherine hurries into the dining hall first, so as not to disturb the impact of her handiwork. Lord Galliberos stands as they enter, but his cordial smile is halted at the heroine's entrance. His lips part wordlessly in surprise as his eyes follow her, as if entranced by her graceful step. He nearly stumbles over the table attempting to
Dice Diplomacy:
Then, she trips. He nearly moves to catch her, but she rights herself skillfully enough. The spell is broken as he recovers himself, but her desired impression is left. He retakes his seat as a tantalizing roasted pheasant is brought out. Lord Louis nods understandingly at his guest's comment, but his mind is soon elsewhere wondering why Aira's dress seems so familiar. His absent tapping on his sword pommel stops as he realizes where with some amusement. Eying the pleased grin on his sister, the Lord of Nichen finally addresses the heroine: "I hope you minded not too much playing the doll to my sister's designs," glancing at the smirking siren, "but I shall confess you look ... positively enchanting tonight, Aira Ru," smiling warmly at her.

Aira smiled warmly as the Lord could now catch a small hint of her soft, yet elegant perfume, her makeup gave her a radiant look as not to cover up anything.
Aira's face lit up when he commented on her appearance. It was hard to tell if she was blushing or if it was still red from the near fall. Thank you, I do not mind at all. Lady Katherine and Waeltor are indeed very good. They were able to perfectly express my feelings in this dress tonight. But alas, I had not much time to practice walking in heels. She looked over to Lady Katherine and nodded another thank you before turning back to Lord Galliberos. I take it the day went well? as she takes a sip of her wine while the food is being bought out.
