Of Earth and Fire
I am a creature of earth. Author's Notes: I rarely write poetry... but when I do it tends to have a lot of meaning. I like this one, written after a storm when I wished I was out dancing in the rain. The pagan undercurrents are just that, and I use similar themes with my PCs (I'm sick of classic religions.) I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, among others. That's what this is about. I feel more at peace standing in the rain than in bed aching... at least for a change being inside provided something worthwhile. This poem (c) me. Please do not use or reproduce in any way without my express permission. (Posted on deviantART and WitchVox also, should the issue of plagarism arise.)

I like this one too. Can't write poetry well myself. Just ends up being silly rhymes.
Thanks again. |

Most of my poetry falls horribly flat, but every once in awhile something comes out well. (Of course, you don't get to see the 99.9% of my poetry, so you couldn't know...)

Don't be so hard on yourself. I thought it was good. Plus, you at least shared it, so now it has life. Forever on the internet and unerasable.
And if your like me and my writing, I'm sure made you feel better. Added bonus. |
