I would love to play, but Im new. I've only played one game of DnD. I made my own char tho, a rouge, so i know how to make chars.... but no idea what 'no PHB races' means... does that mean i cant be human? or halfling?

Also, if we arent any of those, how do we know their abilitiy modifers and stuff?

I guess I'll go ahead and roll to see what i get.. i hope i do this right...
