Well, I have backed it up on Kickstarter as well, hence I have the pdf version of it right now.
Have something on my mind, but I want to confirm what is the setting on your mind, mofous? Or are you going to let the setting fluid according toward what characters are?

Fractured Philly would be the setting that I'm planning on using, found on page 261. Or did I misunderstand your question?

No, I mean: Are your game involved police work or sandbox or raising rank?
If you haven't pre-determine the plot for the story and can go anywhere, we can call it "sandbox" game since player can do almost whatever they want (in loose fashion). But if you have some guidelines like : The PC would help police to solve some crimes, or The PC joins a club to know their position in this world, or The PC would like to survive just another day since someone is hunting you, then we should abide your guidelines and make characters that can be compatible with that.

Also, these are great questions, thank you very much for asking them. Last edited by mofous; Dec 29th, 2015 at 09:39 PM. |

So the new brood could try to make a name and its own territory then.

Thank you, mofous.
That gives me good concept to begin with. Well, after survival, Great Beast would definitely want to be undergo The Beast Incarnate. That would be my goal then. I will post my application after 4th January. Happy New Year 2016.

I love some World of Darkness. I'll start reading up on it.

So is there any deadline for posting our characters?

Not necessarily. If the game gets off of the ground, I'd love to start it near the end of January, early February. But I understand that people are getting back into the rhythm of daily life after the chaos of the holidays... so I'm not going to enforce any deadline at the moment.

Once I work out a few details of my background and goals, I'll be pitching a Sin-Eater. Part of me very much wanted to apply with a Promethean, but they're more than a little awkward to be the Storyteller for (as I can attest firsthand!). Also, there's apparently a major revision to the line planned with its 2nd Edition later this year, and I'd rather not deal with what that entails, I don't think.
In any case, my nWoD/CoD experience has largely been 1E. So I may need a few pointers as we go regarding what has changed.

You are the first person I've ever met who's been a Storyteller for Prometheus. Teach me your ways.
Still working on a concept, I'm definitely more interested in the Beast than cross-over aspects the more I think on it.

You know I'm reading through the book and while I'm getting the gist of it, I'm having a bit of trouble wrapping my head around the concept of Hunger and feeding. So a Beast must create nightmares in order to sate its hunger but how exactly does it "feed"? Does it go into the Primordial Dream and literally feed on the nightmare or is the act of creating a nightmare in it of itself sating the Hunger?
Mind you I'm still on the part about what clans there are so feel free to tell me if they clear this up later. |
