Astrid starts to stand, but then stops herself. She wants to ask more questions, but she decides against it, at least for now. Over the years she has learned that sometimes intentions are better left unspoken. She waits patiently for him to turn back towards her and asks only, "Should the others learn of my quest, or would you like this to remain between us?"

Turning around, Tsu meets her eyes: "This is a private mission. Take the bezoars but say nothing to your friends."

He hands her a pendant: "This will help you. Take it."

[Incendia]

Astrid reaches out, taking the pendant in her hands. "What is it?" she asks, examining it carefully.

"It is the Necklace of the Lady of the Lake: anyone who wears it will be unfathomably loved whether by people or by daeva."

Astrid feels her face start to flush slightly. "I'm not used to such attention though..."

[LuEngel]

Tsu shakes his head: "It won't necessarily draw attention to you, unless you charge it with some of your magic. However, it will help you avoid danger. Anyone you speak to will like you."

Intelligence check regarding necklace.

Astrid will recall that magic of this type is strong because those it affects are unaware of it. Once someone realizes they are under such a spell, they can usually break its hold on them. However, this particular necklace is known for the fact that it is far harder to sense its magic and thus nearly impossible to break its spell.

[Incendia]

She takes the pendant and secures the clasp behind her neck. As she tucks it beneath her cloak, she feels a soft flow of energy flow through her body. "Thank you for this," she says, her eyes reaching those of Tsu. "I will bring you back what you desire soon."

[LuEngel]

He nods: "Good. And may the gods guard your way."

[Incendia]

Astrid nods and asks, "Before I go, may I ask you for some advice regarding the Carnwennan? I would like to train with it, but I was not quite sure how I should go about mastering it."

[LuEngel]

He tilts his head: "Your regular knife training should be enough, but, if you are having trouble understanding the blade, then perhaps you should mediate and reach out to the spirit within it."

[LuEngel]
