Bundle of Holding has added a second Traveller bundle that looks more relevant to people wanting to run the game (lot of worldbuilding and information books) although, oddly enough, it does have the Aliens of Charted Space Vol 3+4 that were mentioned earlier in the thread.

The game has an interesting premise, but I feel it would require a significant investment from me upfront, and my basic familiarity with Traveller would increase that requirement even further. I also noticed a similar character concept has already been submitted, and given my rather poor luck with applications, I think I’ll pass. Good luck, everyone!

Just a reminder to people who are still finishing off characters don't forget Ageing rolls which kick in once your character reaches 34.

It is always a gamble whether to go for a young and healthy greenhorn or a more experienced but potentially less fit older character.

I got stung by that gamble . My roles were generally pretty good, but I scored a -2 for aging in term 5 (-1 to all physical attributes - oof!). Too much hard livin', I guess...

Only just realized this would have applied to my stat rolls. Not that I want to reroll, because I like my character even if she's overshadowed by every other character. Considering I've been wanting to roll up a heavy melee bruiser for awhile, because there's one on every space ship for some reason, I certainly keep making... not that.
