Ina: "But of course sir, do what makes you comfortable."

"Thank you," Fëanor smiles as he reaches out and touches the frame, then lightly taps the wooden structure with his fingertips, briefly taking in the curves and edges of the carvings.

"I might have to come back at a better time to observe these closer, it's not often I get a chance to see the clan crests." He says with a light chuckle.

[Achylleus]

Bartholomew reaches out and touches the door as well, following Fëanor's example. He sniffs the door, and puts his ear up to it.

[Mallen]

Elara sees everyone touching the door and almost punches the wood in her haste to follow suit.

Ina: "I understand perfectly well. If you like I have smaller carvings of the crests at my home if you ever wish to study them. As for the door itself, I can arrange a time for you to visit and perhaps Bartholomew will help you reach the higher spots and maybe describe the colors?"

Noting Elara's haste, Ina whispers softly to her: "No need to be so nervous: Bartholomew is a kind hearted individual and his trust in Fëanor tells me that he too is a good man."

[Mallen]

She straightens up and smiles faintly. "It seemed like a good idea. They certainly looked like they knew what they were doing..." She takes her hand from the door.

Ina: "They do know what they're doing...most of the time anyway. But you need to not worry so much about them accepting you. I'm sure you'll be fine"

Elara nods gratefully at Ina and relaxes a bit while turning her head to look back to the rest group.

Smiling softly, Ina says, "If everyone is ready we can go ahead and meet the clan leaders."

Rina pulls her gaze away from the door and looks at Ina. "So Miss Ina, what do you do here?"

"Thank you for your kind offer," Fëanor replied, stepping away from the door. "I'll gladly stop by some time."

Ina tells Fëanor he's always welcome to visit as any friend of Bartholomew's is a friend of hers.

She looks at Rina: "Oh! I help out with odds and ends: my brothers are the MacLeod clan chiefs."

Before anything more can be said, a young woman cloaked in black steps out of the shadows and moves forward with a silent, ghostlike grace. She glances quickly about her surroundings, looking a bit sheepish at her untimely arrival, and gently removes her hood to reveal her soft, pale features.

"I am sorry to interrupt," she says, addressing the group, "but I believe I was summoned here as well. My name is Astrid Dubois."

Ina nods: "Welcome, Astrid. You are indeed one of the summoned. The Akagi family asked for your skillset specifically."
