Bartholomew's step falters and he stops and sits. He still wont look at Ina though, out of shame. His eyes are filled with tears.

[LuEngel]

Ina sits on the floor next to him and wraps her arms around her legs: "I t-ttold you how my b-b-brother wielded that sword...Logan w-was special like you...a-and that sword c-c-called to him."

She covers her face as tears start welling in her eyes again.

"T-that b-b-blade wants b-blood."

[Achylleus]

Barry is still for a moment. "This not the first time." He pauses. "Before I meet Fëanor I was in battle. Hurt badly, worse than this..." he gestures to the bandages on his side. "But not remember the fight. All remember is waking, piles of dead men... dead men with marks of sword" he gestures back to the room, "and teeth" he gestures to himself. "Piles tall as me." He seems somber, but there is fear in his voice. "Want blood too..." He shivers.

"We all want a little blood now and then!" Logan stops in fornt of the pair, "You both should come with me to somewhere a bit quieter."

He bends down and picks up Ina. "Logan!"

"Hush, lassie! Come, Bartholomew, we need to talk."

He leads Bartholomew to his private quarters.

[Achylleus]

Bartholomew follows him

Logan sets Ina down in a chair and takes his own seat. He gestures for Bartholomew to sit as well. Thankfully the furniture in the MacLeod family quarters all seems extra-extra large, so Bartholomew will be comfortable.

Ina curls up in her chair with plenty of room to spare.

"Laddie, I understand that you have possession of my old partner, Cruaidín Catutchenn. Since Chuchulain first bore it, that sword seeks out only one kind of hero. You have a darkness within you."

[Achylleus]

Bartholomew just sits and nods, listening.

[LuEngel]

Logan proceeds to explain how he is a beserker as well, that it is a blessing a curse: "You'll be an asset on the battle field, but you will forever be a danger to those you love."

Logan explains how the original wielder of the sword, Chuchulain, want known for his battle rages one of which was so bad it caused him to fight the very sea itself. Chuchulain had murdered his own son in a fight and it drove him mad. Ever since, the sword has called for blood.

Logan continues and explains how he too suffered from teh battle rages and that the sword chose him. "I killed thousands and thousands...eventually the blade began to speak to me, to calm me out of the rages...but it still called for blood...the only way you can continue to use the sword safely is to master speaking with the soul within it. It will help keep you from going too far..."

He looks at Ina: "Maybe you can learn better than I did."

[Achylleus]

Bartholomew nods again. "Maybe, maybe not. Deavas dangerous? Is Crua..." he struggles with the words, "Cruaidin Catuchenn needed?"

[LuEngel]

Logan nods: "Daevas are the most dangerous thing I can think of on this plane...the sword might be one of the few things able to stand against them."

"U-unless you're D-d-duncan," Ina mutters.

[Achylleus]

Bartholomew nods. "I will wield it. But others should be told. About me and about sword."

[LuEngel]

Logan nods: "That is acceptable...you might also need to find something," he glances at Ina, "or someone to help you calm down during these episodes."

[Achylleus]

He nods. "Not Ina. Ina stay away from me. Safer."
