Roueguess notices Bartholomew's gaze: "I can cook it if you can catch it..."

Astrid hears this and fears that the bird may actually be cursed. She attempts to snatch it as well.

Amazingly, Bartholomew manages to dart and weave around tables, successfully catching the bird in question and bringing it back to Roueguess. She leads him to the kitchen.
"You ever cook duck, pheasant, or chicken?"

Astrid narrows her eyes at Bartholemew. "I really wouldn't advise eating that thing."

Roueguess: "That works. I need you to wring it's neck, de-feather it, and then I'll cook it"
She looks at Astrid: "It's fine: animals come here all the time. My husband draws in some strang beasts: last week was a yak and the week before that was two porcupines and let me tell you, there are some wonders of nature I did not need to see."

Astrid shrugs. "In any case, one of the members of our party is injured and I was wondering if we could acquire some lodging for the night, or if there was a washroom she could use to clean herself up in the meantime. We would be very grateful for any arrangements you could provide."

The bird is dead.
Roueguess: "Two GD for the night and I'll set up up in a nice pair of rooms with wash facilities."

Fëanor, incredibly confused by the circumstances, walks over to Astrid and Roueguess.
"Not to intrude, but what exactly is happening with the bird?" He asks, genuinely curious. "I'd assume it's not commonplace for one to fly in most places, yet it seems to me that it's not a surprise to most people here. Why is that?"

"People are weird," she says, shrugging. She then hands the gold to Roueguess, thanks her for her time, and returns to Zuri.

Roueguess will hand off two keys to Astrid: the room numbers are marked on the keys.
Fëanor can hear the rustle of her clothes as Roueguess turns towards him: "My husband tends to attract all sorts of animals in his wake, I'm afraid...he also manages to be present for every animal mating within a five kilometer radius, so our regulars have gotten fairly used to his antics...poor bird probably assumed your friend was its mate."

Fëanor chuckles lightly at her reply. "It's a shame the bird had to choose the same time to be here as Bartholomew. It would have been much better for it." He says, motioning toward where Bartholomew was plucking the feathers off the albatross.
"Is it only animals that seem to come by?" He asks.
