Small gatherings are always nice, though! And hopefully you're able to land the Costco job, dawg |

Yeah, it was less than a pleasant experience, and my life's landed me in two of them. But I've had a good little birthday bash, and am pretty well determined to go for that Costco job as hard as I can! Thanks Eli, fingers crossed, eh?

Not sure I understood Roan quite right. You want to go investigate the sick maws, or go check something else before them?

Investigate the Maw territory. But before doing that, we've got a bag o' money with an untold amount of money left in it. So he's suggesting that first of all, we find someplace viable to count it out, and if anyone has any pressing needs, get some things purchased first off so that we go to the Maws prepared, as opposed to just stumble in there and see hwat happens.

You guys have 1450 in group funds currently, plus whatever each person has in personal funds saved up from starting wealth

According to Eli side OOC information, there is roughly 1450 gold (in Platinum) in the bag now, plus anything else we got among us, and/or maybe more from later, but that could be our starting business cash too.
There's a few was this could go, which may be interesting, hehe.

Agreed! So yeah, my plan was to see it counted, then get anything we need before we ship out. I personally am good with what I got, least to start, but figured if anyone needs something, now's the time.

I can go with that, depending on what rest of party and Eli thinks. In the event of purchasing the place from 'owners' knowing what we have on hand may not be bad, or confirming the purse leftovers is what we got.

Most of the items you'll be able to find are Juju fetishes, by the way. Basically, Wondrous Items at 1/10th the price, but that only last 1 week+1 day per caster level, and whose benefits don't apply against the creator of the item. You guys are currently in an area that is kinda reminiscent of Chinatown in most large cities, especially San Francisco.

Fun items. I assume there's some limits to that, though it'd certainly be one way to make supplies cheaply

Primarily the time limit, but I'm going to take it as a case-by-case basis. Standard costly (above 500 GP) Wondrous Items and other large magic items will most often need to be custom-made in this area, although Eran the Artificer may be able to help in that department.

Well, there's nothing I want to pick up per se at this point, so I'm good for forward.

Traps? What traps? This is the most honest, straightforward door I've ever met, there's no way it would betray us like that, I trust 'em!

Perhaps an important question coming up here... how fast/nonexistent is police response time normally for these seedier areas? Obviously, wouldn't know exacts for where I'm at, but if someone were to go and say... call the guards because there's murder and violence going on, what'd be a good educated guess for how long it'd take for an official response to mobilize?
