I doubt he has a touch ac of 8. He seems like a dex heavy kind of guy.

Yeah but if he actually is stunned (fingers crossed) he loses Dexterity to AC and takes a further -2 penalty. Which may cripple his AC to the point where our feeble attempts actually succeed.

In this would-be darkness - can I 'see' the area outside it that still has light, or am I completely blind because of it?

If I can somehow 'note' the presence of others coming down, does said darkness give me a sort of cover I can jab from, if I prepare for them?

You can't see out of it, I'm afraid. However, you would have mutual cover with any enemies, assuming they cannot see you.

I'll have to remember next time that another player builds a character with at-will deeper darkness, don't choose a light based spell as your only spell. :P

Deeper Darkness doesn't suppress any light-based spells, only dispels them or counters them at the time of casting. Color Spray still functions within the area of Deeper Darkness

Color spray states that sightless creatures are unaffected. I would think that would cover things in an area that suppresses all light. Regardless though, Eran would have zero clue what he's aiming at.

There's a weirdly large amount of talk about how it interacts this various forms of darkness and darkvision. Geez. And they all have decently valid arguments behind them. I think I'm going to go with you can, but at a small penalty to DC.

Mine was alright, fairly slow, but nice.

And a question to the audience, I've been saving it thus far, but if everyone feels its necessary, should I go ahead and go to use my Justice power? Currently don't feel like the need is all that pressing, but not sure if we're going to get into any more fights in this current day cycle, or if it'd be even remotely a good idea to seek out more fights after this one.

Oh, and super crit is super, let's hope that 34 damage is enough to drop tanky.

there's what, 4 archers and 2 heavily armored fellows? We're level 1 plus some perks, so in theory we're completely on par CR wise.

darkness is helping but only partly - it only makes us get a concealment bonus really, a lucky shot could still hurt us annoyingly, but at least one/two team members can exploit it. >.< Hard for other part of team to contribute inside darkness though.

The question then becomes: is there someone even deadlier up ahead?

If you think this is a critical spot, go ahead and use your powers if they'll help. We don't have many going for us at the moment. Next time we should look into 'slap on healing patches' or something.>_>
