Kat sees a bright color in a thicket of heavy brush.

Kat shouts and points "Hey!! I found something!!" and heads over to it, Cronus follows her

Compared to the surrounding brush, it was bright. But when you start dragging the brush away, its clear its muddy and dingy from the water. Unfortunately, Aleece, as you heard the missing girl called, is not alive. She appears to have died in terror, and although known as a 'pin-head' she shows her horror, written across her tiny face.
