[Other] Lights... Camera... ACTION! [Action Movie World: First Blood] Beginners welcome!

Hey, this interested me and I’m looking to apply. This is just one character idea and I’d be willing to modify this character or make another to be better suited for this game.

Actor's Name and Short Bio: Endi Gigauri was a nationally acclaimed actor with a voice like silk and vocabulary that swooned even the most stone hearted. At some point in his award winning career, he wished to expand his horizons into different countries. Wishing to share his passion with the world. However, he may have overestimated how worldwide his fame was and overlooked the small fact that most people don’t speak Georgian. After a couple box office flops in movies starring him as the evil Russian guy, despite not being Russian, he’s looking to break out from his typical role as a foreigner villain and play a new character. Hopefully one where he is able to show off his silky voice and dramatic flair.

Character's Name: Adam Chrome

Character's Appearance: A buff cyborg with half his face made of metal, a rad glowing red eye, and a fully mechanical arm. Always looks to be sweaty which just makes the chrome shine even more. Usually seen with his signature glower. (The muscles are mostly padding, the metal part of his face is half a metal bowl wrapped in tinfoil, the red eye a shiny red marble that was found on the floor, the mechanical arm is just his arm wrapped in tinfoil, his glower is because the lights on set are too bright, and he’s sweaty because it’s hot in the studio and the excessive tinfoil makes it worse.)

Character Overview: Quite a while ago in a battle far flung away (Reworded due to copyright), Andy Chrome lost half his face and an arm! After barely surviving, he replaced the parts lost with cybernetics. Now furious from losing half of his hair, he’s looking to settle the score with the grander part of space. Particularly with a whole lot of yelling.

"-TION!"


Andy Chrome runs through a metal door screaming! Revealing the evil group known as the space base boomers! A purple alien with a bulbous head slowly claps their tentacles as a green, 4 armed alien walked to their side. A group of varying types behind the mastermind in the background of the room. "Congratulations, Adam Chrome, you found our ship. Have anything to say before your demise?" Adam Chrome, ever the man of few words, stares on silently with his glower. His eyes glancing to the side as if searching for something to say. Looking back to the evil group, he answers quite simply. Answering with a scream!

The 4 armed alien charged Adam Chrome, extending only two arms out to grab him. Adam Chrome responded with a headbutt once they were close enough, dropping them to the ground. The purple alien with a basketball sized forehead trains their blaster at the would be hero!

"You’ll never stop our plan to blow up Plasmasphere, Adam Chrome!" Shouted the purple alien, about to pull the trigger with their tentacle until Adam Chrome grabbed the unconscious 4 armed alien and threw them into the evil mastermind! Pinning the purple alien under the heavy alien.

With their leader pinned on the ground, Adam Chrome looked to the rest of the aliens in the room. Their aim shaky in terror from the terrifying display of Adam Chrome. Adam Chrome gave them the signature glower before shouting at the top of his lungs at the evildoers. The aliens dropped their blasters and ran out through the Adam Chrome shaped hole in the door. Adam Chrome walked over to the titanium based table in the middle of the room, grabbing the data chip with the plans inside.

"No! You’ll never escape with the plans alive!" The purple alien screamed before pulling out the, conveniently placed, self destruct button from the 4 armed aliens pocket. Pressing it, the entire space ship would be blaring with the warning alarm and red lights replacing the neon ones. To signal the ship was about to explode. The 4 armed alien would wake from this and run through the hole in the door. This was worse than when Adam Chrome had to fight the great gobbler of Ganznaf!

The countdown began, counting down from 10 until the self destruct activated. Adam Chrome looked around the room, looking for an escape. "10! 9!" He looked at the table first. Could he hide under there? "8! 7!" He looked at a 2000’s styled fridge in the corner of the room. Now that was just ridiculous! "6! 5!" He looked at the hole in the door. He already made a hole there! Adam Chrome couldn’t go through a hole he already made! "4! 3!" The purple alien stood on their tentacles, laughing and tilting their basketball shaped head back. "There is no escape, Adam Chrome!"

"2! 1!" In those last seconds, Adam Chrome saw the giant window looking out to space and at his ship in sight. He had no choice. Adam Chrome ran to the window, data chip in hand then jumping through the window and shattering the glass. Yelling in the vacuum of space.

"Nooooo!" Screamed the villain before the starship exploded, propelling Adam Chrome through the vacuum of space. Despite this, Adam Chrome could still be heard yelling as he was propelled through space to his ship.


"Cut! That was great!" Said a voice just out of view from the camera. "Andy, you got to remember your lines. I saw you glancing over here before screaming. You have to scream instantly. Adam Chrome wouldn’t hesitate to scream. "

Endi Gigauri cast off the tinfoil arm and the half bowl attached to his face, using the latter to waft his sweaty face before looking to the ground to rest his eyes from the bright lights. "ტუალეტი სად არის" Endi asked as he got a breather in. "Oh, come on, it’s not that hot!" The voice assured him. "What did he say?"

The actor playing the purple alien took off the costume to wipe some sweat from his brow "You sure it’s a good idea to put this many special effects into an audition"?

"Sure it is!" Said the same voice from before. "Besides, it looks awesome." The voice would lower in volume then. "Hey, is that camera still rolling?"

"Uh, no." Some fidgeting could be heard as the camera faced to the ground.

"Let me see tha-"

Actor’s name and Bio
Andrew Drummond
Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, Andrew first came to attention as Robin Ballard. Robin was the young companion of the “Traveller” a Dr Whoesque character, in the TV show “Dark Season”. Robin proved to be massively popular, and subsequent seasons of the show retooled it so he was the main character. It ran for 4 seasons before ending. It’s one of two roles he’s known for, and he occasionally attends conventions, as he’s very grateful for those fans whom brought him early success.

After the show ended he tried his luck in Hollywood. The first couple of years were very disappointing, as whilst he was known to UK audiences, he was unknown to American audiences. Failed show pilot after pilot, films that fell through. Disaster after disaster. Andrew was ready to go back home.

Fate was kind. At age 23 Andrew landed the lead in Moscow Nights, which would be followed by Helsinki Days, then the final one in the trilogy, titled simply “Requiem For A Spy”. In them Andrew plays Peter Forbes, a naive new recruit to MI5 whom is betrayed and trapped in Russia. Over the course of the trilogy, Peter Forbes transforms from this naive young agent, into an international man of mystery badass spy. Requiem is generally received as the best of the trilogy, giving Peter Forbes a rollicking send off that satisfied everyone.

Now at age 26 he’s ready for a new challenge.

The Pariah AKA The man with no name

Character's Appearance:
The pariah is wearing archaic black monk robes, with the hood up. He wears a silver cat mask over his face.

Playbook: Smooth operator

Character Overview:
The Pariah is secretly the emperor’s illegitimate son. The emperor sent an assassin to kill both mother and child, but whilst the assassin had no problem killing the mother, he couldn’t kill the the kid. So instead he trained him. When the Pariah was old enough to know the truth, he was told. Swearing revenge, the Pariah infiltrated an order of space monks in order to get to the emperor.

Audition Tape:
Taken from the failed pilot “Earth Sentinel”
Sentinel Adam smiled at his captor. Even handcuffed to a chair in the command center of the ship, he was still the epitome of charm and grace, that really irked the pants of the alien general Bodag, if the alien had any requirement for pants. Bodag glared at the human, his hatred palpable. "Why are you smiling human? You are captured, and in a few minutes, we will burn all life off that rock you call home."
Smiling, ever smiling. "I have you right where I want you."
Bodag laughed uproarious and in contempt of his prisoner. "Have me where you want me? What exactly is your plan?"
Adam beamed at his captor. "I’m every so happy you asked, old bean. As you know, there are very few true Thysicans left, which leaves your empire in a dilly of a pickle, when it comes to galactic conquest. A problem your frankly disgusting people solved by slapping control collars on the people you conquered, and press-ganging them into your armies. Now if someone was to use a device to destroy the collar terminal, well gosh, you would have an angry rebellion on your hands."
Drawing his sidearm, Bodag pointed it at Adam. "What a story. Too bad you’ll never get to do it."
Unflinching, Adam faced his certain doom like a man. "I never said I was going to do it."

Thalia, an alien woman that conveniently looked like a hot human woman but with blue hair, and wearing an outfit more appropriate on a stripper, than her actual job as head scientist, uploaded the virus into the collar terminal. All the slaves were freed and there was an instant rebellion, as they vastly outnumbered their captors. Bodag had to shoot two former slaves as Adam freed himself with ease and aplomb, grabbing a blaster from one of the fallen. They shoot at each other, but the chaos of combat makes both miss. The alien general, seeing the writing on the wall, makes an exit stage left. Not before taking a measure of vengeance on Adam, via shooting Thalia.

Adam rushed to Thalia, cradling her in his arms. "I meant every word. I was going to show you Earth, there’s this beautiful island called Santorini, you would have loved it there." His voice cracking with emotion, as his heart was breaking.
"My love, kiss me one last time." They kiss, cementing their tragic true love, until Thalia slumps back. Adam tenderly closes her eyes, before letting out an anguished howl of pain and rage. He stands, his eyes full of murder, and his heart promising death to Bodag.

An image can really bring an application (and character) to life, and I have been trying to create one for you. But my AI-fu is not strong, and it is not understanding my prompts (based on your descriptions). In particular, it either gives me a full-on robot, or a human, but not a robot arm or half-cyborg face.

Thank you both for the welcome. I’m glad to read that you’re rooting for Adam Chrome, @Mitsubachi. It’s great to know someone liked my application. I hope I make it in as well. As for the images, none fit the character appearance that I’m imagining. Although, the first 3 images get the feel of the character. Specifically the glower and the rad glowing red eye. But the 4th image gets his ultra important motivation down. The fact that half of his hair is gone due to the metal part having to replace it. The 5th image I don’t have much to say about other than helping me realize I didn’t think too much about how far the metal half of his face goes down. Either stopping right above his cheek or replacing all of his half. In the end, it’ll come down to whatever looks the coolest in the film and how easy it will be to make into an action figure. None of them get the arm down. It doesn’t look like flesh and really looks like a robot arm. A cybernetic arm made fully of sci-fi metal (Tinfoil), from shoulder to fingers. I do appreciate you giving me images to choose from.

Thank you, @Sirviantis. I feel honored by how you worded that. I was surprised it wasn’t taken too. I had thought about what username to use when I decided to go with something simple but semi-creative. I was worried that it might be too simple or pedantic when I typed it in but your feedback assures me it’s amazing. In other news, I’ve hit that special 3 posts. I’ll be attempting the tutorial soon. Hopefully that will go well.
