Not quite. It's unlocked, but all it requires is a gentle push to open it. It won't affect anyone's actions to "open" the door.

Yeah, when I started playing a Swashbuckler during the Beta in the Becoming, I noticed the same thing. It's damn near impossible to do such a thing.

Since I'm sympathetic, here's a few ideas on how to handle this:
1.) We could make it so that I tell you the attack roll before my post, and you try to parry; I then incorporate it into my attacks
2.) You anticipate an attack from a character, and you roll that information beforehand. This could get dicey if there are multiple targets, but is entirely doable.
3.) You could do it after the fact, and I could go back and edit my posts accordingly. In this situation, this would be the best option, I think, but just for this situation.

Which one sounds the most doable, or does someone else see a fourth option?

I'll get a post up tonight, then.

When I breifly had the ability, I tended to put in my post the intention to parry/riposte if attacked and prerolled it. Sass wasn't a jerk about it then.

I'm thinking I'll do the same. And make a prioritized list of targets, if more than one opponent is facing me.
