I'm absolutely no expert, let me say that up front, but I can try and answer some concerns. Yeap, you get a smaller spell repertoire, but iirc Pathfinder 2e is designed around cantrips always being useful as damage dealers (though not optimal, ofcourse) so I think you might be able to rely on those for quite a bit. Beyond that, you've got a limited amount of tandem actions, allowing you to do things with both your character and eidolon like attacking from both characters, moving both or mounting (in tandem) for 1 action instead of 2. Beyond that, with act together (at least the way I read it) you can sort of squeeze out another action (for one of the duo) on your turn. Yes, you get share HP, but you do gain quite a few more hitpoints than most casters (10 instead of 8) and you can and should heal those up between combat.

But once again, I'm no expert, this is based on me being a bit curious after the new version of the class of one of my favourite characters from Pathfinder 1e.

Thank you for your assistance~ All I know about them is their spells, which get exclusively higher leveled as they level up.

Its great to see a Pathfinder 2e game get so much attention on here. I think for now though I'm going to withdraw my interest in the short term, I've got enough on trying to get my own game up and running before I start looking at others.

Thanks!, More or less I get it that way. And for the movement in one action I read that you got a feat for that but it is a high level one. although there are some thing I cannot understand quite well yet. But I think if I can learn a lot from it.

From what i get to understand, PF2e is not that dependant to magic items and gear. I read that your eidolon get bonus from the item you use like the armor and weapons rune. Also, I think I get will produce flame as his main attack cantrip along with perhaps guidance? I have to understand the bonus stuff. I read that some bonus don't stack like it does in D&D 5e.

Jumping in with both feet....

Name: Melkath
Class: Psychic (Silent Whisper)
Ancestry and Heritage: Fungus Leshy
Background: Occult Scholar

Description: A small purple-grey fungal humanoid with white spore-pods hanging from his form. He does not possess a human-like face, merely a slight line where his "mouth" is, within are nasty-looking serrated teeth - though they are often not shown to others. He possesses dark purple-black pupil-less eyes. Often wears robes and a shoulder bag filed with a single book. Long claw-like fingers extend from his soft-looking arms, appearing threatening to look at. One might get a "don't touch" thought when looking upon the small fungal creature.

Backstory: A local to the area, though an unrecognizable one to most. Melkath was born from the dying remains of a powerful druid. As the local fungus began to decompose the body to consume it, the magic that was left in the man's remains seeped into the fungus granting it sentience and a connection to magic. Finding its new-found sentience and mobility a curiosity, Melkath wandered through various wild places until he came upon a memory-place the druid knew - a hidden library of magical texts - hidden away to prevent nefarious intentions from gaining its knowledge.

Recognizing itself as non-nefarious, the fungus began a vigorous study of the hidden texts falling upon its/his own understanding of magic and began to train itself through the use of the texts, gaining a small modicum of success in its endeavors. Through the long study of the texts and practice, Melkath gained some small magical skill. Recognizing that the texts suggested practical experience vs book learning is the only way one can learn and grow - the Leshy set out to explore the world - and hopefully encounter others as curious as itself.

Melkath would be interested in exploring anything at this point - as the world is fresh and new - and his powers are a mere drop in a vast sea of magic. He will continue to study his book, while seeking to gain further magical knowledge - and add to his single collection of (1) book. Any interactions with other PCs or NPCs would be a vastly new and intriguing experience for him.

The only really mandatory items are the fundamental runes that increase accuracy and damage for weapons and AC for armour. They're kinda necessary to get roughly around the level they're listed at to keep up with the math scaling.

Caster cantrip damage will generally keep up with a ranged martial class, or a more defensive melee build (finesse/shields/reach weapons). The tricky part about a charisma caster is that you don't usually have as good a recall knowledge option that intelligence and wisdom based casters do to try and make sure your few levelled spells are appropriate ones to use in a fight, unless you stick to buffs and support.

And, basically, buffs with the same type don't stack. There's a few that don't have a type, they always stack, but there's generally circumstance, status and item types, and only the highest value goes on. And yes, +/- 1 and +/- 2 is a lot more meaningful in, 2e than in say, DnD5e.

Brilliant

@lcg16

That was a brilliant and thoughtful answer. Thank you for describing so succinctly and beautifully the differences. Very insightful and helpful!

My application is complete, pending any feedback. This'll be my first ever pathfinder game if I get in. I found the Pathbuilder app fantastically helpful.

Pathbuilder is a (nearly?) official character builder app for Pathfinder (2e). It has all the character options from their SRD with pretty complete descriptions and is quite user-friendly. It's free (with ads) on Android. Not sure about IOS.
Edit: Oh hey, they have a web-app too. https://pathbuilder2e.com/app.html?v=62e

So, If you have a armor and a bracer of armor the ac bonus does not stack like in D&D 5e? you get the best bonus of it even if the are different worn items?

@Phasmus, Nice found!, I will use that app to test my concept character.

I also finished my application I was thinikng about what I want kind of eilodon I want do make and I think I might get an brawler with scouting/infiltrator abilities? Maybe get dual studies to give him stealth skill and I will choose disguise self version of PF to do spying job perhaps?

Yes, they don't stack. Bracers of Armor are meant to be for classes that aren't proficient in anything except unarmored defense.

Like summoners, right? I think I would buy one or buy a explorer clothing and improve it with rune and it will be the same, right?

Well, Bracers of Armor are a Level 8 item, and Explorer's Clothing is only affordable to upgrade around Level 5 or so. But yeah, one or the other.
