You are quite right. I was not expecting so many quality apps nor for the decision to be so hard. There are just so many characters I love on offer, but so few spots. It honestly tempts me to run a parallel game but I am if nothing else practical when I offer my time and energy to DM a pbp game. I'm too well aware where that would lead for me: Burnout. I would end up doing neither game justice and end up causing the far too frequent game death cycle that plagues pbp gaming that I very seriously aim to defy.

I do want to thank each and every one of you who took the time to apply especially those who have clearly done your homework and taken the time to read through the game thread in order to craft a background tightly to the events that have already taken place in the prologue that the core group has just played out. I really really appreciate it.

Sorry, I'm going to need to consult the pillow on this one. I've read through each of the apps in detail and attempted to reach a decision, but there are still too many close calls to make. So I need to let them stew in my subconscious overnight.

I agree. Nothing like making one's writing skills and creativity feel "inferior" than to put an advert up in a Game like this.

Ok decision time.

Even after breaking it down each app into a rubrik and scoring things on the key elements I was looking for, and asking for my players' input, it still came out with a 5 way tie for 2 spots which I will push out to three spots, because anything else would be foolish on my part. And many others were breathing closely down their necks.

But a call has to be made as I can't take 5.

Again, I want to thank each of you again for making this so difficult. Real life is a bugger sometimes, so, though I hope I am wrong, player attrition will likely continue to occur. I would love to be able to call on many of the fabulous characters proposed here if that occurred, rather than reopening this thread again. So if you're not too mad at me, and would be interested in getting a call up should a spot reopen in the future, please let me know.
