"Then get it unclassified!", James yelled. "Yes sir. But it will take some time and money.", said the man. "And sir, it looks like he's starting an investigation unit here. The government wants to know what happened here.", he added. Stokely smiled as the man left. On his way to the cabin. David made a call to his sister." Hey sis what's up?", he began. "Working, again.", she said." Dave called and said you came to town. Or he mentioned a guy that kinda looked like you... And told me about some weird sh*t. Are you okay?" " Yeah, look are you still working for Victory Inc.?", He asked. " Yeah. I'm on payroll now. No more internship for me." , she said happily. Then added., " Why?" "That weird sh*t Dave told you about. I think it was Victory Inc. The terrorist I took out, had a canister from there it said T-virus on it.", he told her.

pg45 " I'm heading to retrieve it now. Also the main concentration of infected creatures came from Victory Inc. ", he informed her. "Well maybe it was something the terrorist caused when they stole the canister. ", Christy said. " But I'll look into the virus for you." "You could be right they seemed infected too. Thanks bye." , David said as he hung up the phone. Which rang instantly. "Yeah." He said. " Captain ", said the Cornel." the brass says for you to stay in town. Video footage of the incident has them worried. They want you to head up a team of locals in a joint taskforce. C.A.T.S is a go. You can officially select a team.", Said the Cornel. " Yes, Sir!", said David. " I'm not sure but I may have a lead on what started this. I'm on the way to collect some proof. And I may have a inside informant. I'll report back when I know more. Captain Razinha out." , he hung up. But when he got back to the cabin it was ablaze. The canister gone. And his jeep was missing... ____________________________The End... pg1 2 days ago Winch city streets look like one long road of death. A viral outbreak killed 108 people. Which included the mayor. And countless animals. The CDC and Victory Inc said it was a new strain of rabies. That died out in 24 hours. They also decided to burn the bodies to prevent further spread of the virus. ( In truth Victory Inc. covering up their own virus.) Some people don't believe it was random, others don't believe any of the story. So the government set up a military/police task force to investigate. To head the Civilian Anti-Terrorist Squad they sent SOF Captain David Razinha. Who is currently going to a meeting with police chief Bobby Morrison. To recruit his first unit. That is if he can get through the crowd. Many people still have missing family members. And others have other complaints. Not to mention the destruction of many homes and businesses. "Calm down, and wait. An officer will speak with you in turn and each report will then be checked out as units become available.", said Kevin Marshall. When he saw David, he waved him through to the back of the building.

pg2 There was the chief's office. And inside was Bobby packing up his belongings. " Don't mind this.", he said as he packed." I'm not fired or resigning it's more like an involuntary promotion." " Meaning?", asked David. " The mayor died the other day... Did you know that?", asked Morrison as David nodded and Shrugged." So someone decided I should take his place. And the town committee agreed. That same someone decided that Kevin Marshall would make a good police chief... And so he is now chief." He added flatly. "But...", David started. "The C.A.T.S. program. ", Mayor Morrison interrupted. " Well officer Smith resigned after hearing the change in command. And I sent Aaron Tipton to train with the new SWAT unit, it was my last order before, I turned the station over. So the only good officer left is Ova Combs. The same Detective that helped track down those terrorists for you.", he explained as he motioned detective Combs in.

pg3 " We've met. ", said David. "Who else can I trust?" He asked. " No one. ", Ova replied " I can prove that most of the department either also works for A.T.T.A.C.K. , or has family working for Victory Inc. ATTACK is Victory INC. security personnel. And who better for security than a cop?" He Shrugged. " Who else knows that I'm investigating Victory Inc?, demanded David. " No one outside this room. As far as I know.", said Morrison. " But that don't mean Victory Inc ain't already thought about that." He added. " My new job has its perks you know. Like I had a lot secured for C.A.T.S. HQ. And already assigned the building contract.", He went on as he packed. "We figured, seems as how we didn't want anyone knowing who we investigate, or leaking the info, we would be better off in our own building.", Suggested Ova. "Ohh. I'll still be involved in the investigation, just not as active as you two.", explained Morrison as he saw the questioning look in David's eyes. " Your friend should have my office finished in a day or two. And his boss at the Mill was all too happy with the contract for the material."

pg4 " You have Lee Hounshell working on cats HQ?" , David says surprised. " Yes, and only he knows the location." , said Bobby. " Except for his crew. And Hubert Garland, I think. He's looking for more men, but not sure who to trust." "Well Lieutenant Hounshell knows how to keep things classified. And Junior is my uncle. I'll have a chat with him. No one will hear about the building from him." , agreed David. " Maybe send Will over at least until he find some new work." "I'll suggest it to him." , said Bobby. " I also got you deputization right. So if you find a good civilian to join you they will get a badge, a gun, and a paycheck." He added as they exited. By that time most the other people had been filtered through and sent home. So when the yelling and screaming renewed, David was curious. Up front a guy was yelling at officers who where restraining him.," Why are you asking me about a simple robbery? When you should be out trying to find out what happened the other day! Those were dead things eating people. ", Kenny yelled.

pg5 " Sir you've been told it wasn't rabies outbreak. A freak incident.", said the officer. " now answer our questions and calm down." " Bulshyt! Victory Inc is paying you to say that. How about asking them about their test on animals, or why they're building exploded. I bet it was all caused by them.", said Kenny. " here we go you should be a resting then not harassing me.", he continued ranting. " what's going on here?", David asked. " It's Penny Fraley, a former Soldier. He witnessed a robbery during the chaos.", said an officer, not really caring who he was speaking to, or what he was saying." He was brought in or questioning, but just keeps ranting about the rabies outbreak. Being some kind of cover-up, conspiracy theory bull crap." " Release him!", David ordered. " On whose authority?", you're one of the officers, who looked ready to burst in anger. " On the governments.", said Kevin marshall."This is Captain David Razinha, the special ops forces officer sent to investigate the incident.", he said. As all the officers who had survived saluted. And the room got quiet. Then Kevin winked at David.

pg6 It's in the officer who was yelling, stopped and let Kenny out of his cuffs. Then Kenny also saluted. And stop yelling as well. " At ease soldier.", David said. " Where did you serve?" " u.s. Army infantry for two years, out of Fort Sill." , Kenny said. " As private first class." He added. Then asked, " What about you? What are you doing here?" " I'm here to investigate the cause of the incident in town. Did terrorist animal testing or freak accident the government wants to know." , replied David. " Do you need a job? You can pursue your own line of investigation." " He does now.", said a woman who was the general manager over Kenny. " We fired him this morning. " "Thoes people needed help. All I did was let them in to save their lives." , Kenny responded. "It's not my fault someone stole the till during the chaos. I mean we were fighting zombies, literal zombies." "We told you there were no zombies." , said the angry officer. " AndIstillsay bullshyt!", Kenny retorted. "Well work for me. And you'll getyouranswers. ", said David.

pg7 " No thanks. I do my own investigating. That way no government stooge can tell me that it's all classified, and no one gets arrested." , said Kenny. "Can I go?" " Who were the people?", asked the angry officer. "Some former Marine chick in her husband. And that Justin Spalding guy. I've seen him around before." , said Kenny. " I'll look into it." , said the officer to the manager. " How much did you say they took?" "$98.", said the manager. " Really that much...", said Ova sarcastically. " Well good luck with that.", he said as he headed for the door.. "And keep me informed detective Combs." , said Kevin Marshall, in an attempt to assert his authority over the investigation. But over new he had none over this task force. He also figured his job was gone as soon as this program was ended. Kevin had Kenny released as he watched David and Ova leave. He started very curious that none of his other officers were recruited. So he went to the back office and made a call. As his secretary Jessica Tipton listened outside the door.

pg8 "We we have a problem..." , He said. "Yeah, well he only took Ova with him..." , ..." Yeah, you'll have to get him on the payroll or we won't get any info on the investigation., ... "No that's not all. This freely guy. He keeps asking about the corporation, and the animals... " , ..... " An A.T.T.A.C.K unit really. He's just one guy, don't you have a more subtle way?" , ... " Yes of course." , then he hung up the phone. But that was enough for Jessica to know Kevin was on the take. And he was involved with the virus outbreak somehow. She would have her husband tell that specialized forces guy. They serve together so we can trust him. She just had hoped not to get caught spying. But Bobby had asked her to. And it was the right thing to do. " Hey, Big O.", said David. "Yeah, what?", answered Ova. " Where's the hq being built?", David asked. "Hop in, and I'll take you.", said Ova. " Besides your Jeep still hasn't turned up. ", he added laughing. And Ova drove the unmarked cruiser to the secret location. Which was only a mile from that burnt down cabin the terrorist had used.

pg9 Elsewhere " A problem? I thought we made you chief to handle problems." , yelled a Victory Inc executive. " So so you don't have a man on the task force, other than the detective. Bye on their activities." ,he said irritated. " We've tried that twice. He won't be bought easily. Get us some Leverage. Now is that all?" , said the man. " I see is he going to be a problem?" , he asked the phone. " Fine I'll put A.T.T.A.C.K team on it.", he said. "Seems as how you still don't handle anything." , a pause. " you are the subtle way and can't handle it. So shut up and do as told! ", Christy heard her boss yell as she stood outside the door. He slammed the phone. Then she knocked."Yes what is it? ", he snapped. As she walked in. "You asked for me.", Christy answered. " Yes the CDC once a cure for a vaccine for some of our viruses. I need the best on the project." , he explained to her. "It seems that the rabies outbreak may have been similar to one of our projects. And a vaccine or cure for it may help do the same for that virus." "I see. So where too?", she asked.

pg10 " Home. The research is being done in your hometown. So ask to be there to prevent any further problems, report to James Stokely. He's the director in charge." , said her boss. Christy nodded then left. Well her brother wanted the information. Christy just wasn't sure she wanted to know. As she leaves an A.T.T.A.C.K agent goes in. She pauses, but only long enough to hear the name Fraley mentioned. After leaving Christy calls her brother. "Hello.", comes a halfway cheerful voice. "Hello bro. I herd something today before they sent me to Winch City." , she said. "Is that good or bad?", David asked. "Not sure. Someone someone causing problems for the company is going to have a security unit on him. Fraley I think they said. ", she told him. "I see. I'll keep an eye on him. Hope it's just a security precaution." , he lied, he knew that meant a hit team." Thanks sis. See you when you get back to town. ", he said as he and Ova walked up to Lee. " I see Kenny found a job." , replied Ova, as he saw him helping Will and Jr. " Job's temporary. ", Lee said as they walked up.

pg11 "The office cabin will be up and running by the end of the week.", he said. "I'll show you what we have." , he added, as they walked. Showing them through the part lehwald frame."The mayor's office. And that one will be yours captain. Then the room here will have your team's desks. I figured about seven or eight. Then over here a safe for weapons and gear. And lastly the shower and facilities." , he said as they walked through. "I have a good crew. But you don't happen to know a good electrician do you? No I guess not." , Lee asked, as he looked at their expressions. "Thanks lieutenant but it's kind of small and low security.", David said. A little disappointed in his friends work. "Well this is just for show. For when you get new recruits, or have some not wanted company. The real facility will be hidden. Follow me Captain." , explained Lee. " You will be the first to see this. " Lee said, as they walked away from the clearing. Into the woods. " You remember the safe houses and storage bunker she told us to cheat. In case we ever were betrayed by anyone we worked within the special ops forces. ", he asked, as he pulled open a large metal door to a concrete bunker he had built a while back.
