Yes -- Leadership is available via the Perk before you could otherwise qualify for it.

This follows the theme of Fallout 4 where you can recruit cohorts very early in the game.

Any cohort will be quite low level to start with ... so be careful with them.

Local Leader will also allow you to build up clusters of followers in different settlements, which gives you a kind of distributed influence.

Question: Do DR stack in this game? For example if you chose DR 2/- from being a Mutant would it stack with the DR from armor or would you only use the highest value from the available DR's?

Also saw the suggestions but I'm still working on the build so some of them might change over time. That said Cha 16 is after the Intense Training as I bought 17 but that is reduced to 15 thanks to being a Super Mutant.

Additional Question: You mention Super Mutants using Human's for 'Reproductive Purposes'. I assume this is them exposing people to F.E.V. and not the 'traditional' form of reproduction, right? Can a Super Mutant even do that with a human, traditional reproduction that is? Aren't they sterile?

DRs stack.

I assumed you put +1 on Cha for Level 4 ability score advancement. If you didn't then clarify

Yes- super mutants are sterile and their race reproduces by using FEV on humans.

So many good game concepts have been coming lately. Mr. E incoming.

Quick question, when you take a trait perk multiple times do you have to have multiple instances active to benefit?

Roles: Face, skill monkey, not great at combat.

@AximusLokar -- re: Constructor cohorts, yes, same rules. The basic races would be Perceptrons or Mr Handys or followers. At later levels you may add eyebots, assaultrons, etc. While you can have bespoke cohorts, if you have followers they will be of basic types.

I'll pass on that. I am using a critical effects table, plus there are a bunch of Perks that grant bonuses to confirm criticals, and if you go down that path then slapping Critical feats on your character, taking Keen on weapons (if needed) & etc. will give effects somewhat similar to Called Shots.

Not that it matters yet with Patchit but if we take Local Leader a second time will we be required to use up two permeant Perk slots for that or does it only take up one, with subsequent additions enhancing the existing Perk.

Even if the additional Local Leader picks do provide additional variety in the types of cohorts available, a player can only ever have one 'active' at a time. Even the increase in Cohorts won't really effect 'adventures' as it's not likely you're going to take a small army of minions with you during an attack unless it's an event specifically for that sort of thing.

At least that's how I look at it.

You mean Perks not Traits, but the answer is Yes.

I’m not sure how to estimate how much a Mr. Handy weights. Given this picture for sizing, 500 lbs is not crazy.

How does a Mr Handy fly? I assume just before the war the governments stole some kind of hover-tech from aliens -- as otherwise the jet-based hovering makes no sense whatsover to known earth technology. Let’s just say it is beyond anyone’s comprehension how Mr Handys (and eyebots) actually fly … but high-teach factories can reproduce those parts to spec.

Check the rules on robot healing. Make sure you take knowledge(robotics), have another PC and maybe an NPC (cohort or… ?) around as backups with Knowledge (engineering) and repair kits in case you get knocked out. If you or allies can salvage, you can improvise repair kits in the field.

According to my calculations, it looks like you omitted a +1 to an ability score for your level 4 advancement.
