Tarbin Haldar

Tarbin looked up at the Carpenter’s shout and despite the volume of the words Tarbin could detect amusement in the man’s words. ”Well I can only just about fix a broken fence so I reckon your jobs safe master carpenter…” Tarbin replied with a smile of his own.

”Tarbin Haldar” Tarbin then replied as he reached out and grasped the man’s hand with a firm grip. ”Though I guess you already knew that?” Tarbin added with a slightly raised eyebrow. ”Really should be thankin you for patchin us all up, wasn’t the worst beating I’ve ever taken but it was appreciated.” Tarbin added with a nod as he released the man’s hand.

”Seems there’s a bit of mystery about downstairs, if I was more of the nosy sort I guess I’d push a bit more about that…” Tarbin commented.

”Have you had a bowl?” Tarbin then asked as he nodded towards the meal that he had prepared.

”So how long have you worked here Mister Fletcher? What exactly does a carpenter do in a casino? Other than repair all the broken chairs and tables from all the fights…” Tarbin questioned.

Kara Kurdst

Kara may have a pretty enough face, but her tongue did not belong to a diplomat. Rather than engage in the thuggery of the like on display behind her, or the insistent persuasive tones of Liana, Kara herself could only be present as a middleman. She saved someone once, and earned respect for it. Like a hero aught to. Though this was hardly hero's work.

"Day 104 is her next shift. If you have Red Sunshine yourselves, she'd sing like a bird... but... she needs help. You saved the Warden, you could save another guard, right?"

The man spoke words that could not be ignored. For all of her aloof front and crossed arms that she presented, she is easily swayed with the desire to help. However, "You cannot save one person, without giving up on saving another." She hadn't the tact to continue this talk through whispers. Kara rests her hands proudly upon her hip, "To save someone unknown, one must seek the unknown. Time is wasted by not being given information that can save another person."

Kara looks the guard square in the eye and leans forward, "Forget Vyeggar, I won't stand for anyone getting in the way of another's salvation. If saving another means trouble, than trouble we will have."

Grim, Damien and TarbinGrim maybe had an ale or two too many, but it also made him more endearing, as Sandraminae gave him a wry smile. "I've been known to enjoy a certain kind of help from a certain kind of man." Then the conversation turned to the man, and her expression turned ever so slightly grimmer. "Tilly doesn't tolerate him. Any time he's in here, she has the security thrash him. He's not the first person I've convinced Tilly not to..."

She stopped. There was a small realisation - too much said. She made sure to walk directly in front of Grim, her eyes piercing his. color=darkslategray]"He and Tilly had a disagreement not long ago. If I were you, I'd try not to disagree with her. She's good for this club, but I won't pretend that she's good herself."[/color] Then she walked away, very much deciding that was the end of the conversation.

Tarbin, meanwhile, conversed more with Edward Fletcher, the carpenter. He eagerly took a bowl of grub when offered, though was very purposeful about not saying anything about downstairs. Just a widening of eyes that said it all - something was down there. When asked what else he did, he gave that same serious look directly to Tarbin. "... that's all I do. Bloody loads of broken chairs!" He burst out laughing, taking a moment to slap Tarbin on the arm. "We did have a medicine man once, then he started taking some of the earnings from the bar. Tilly very quickly dumped him on the streets. Not entirely sure how she knew about it, though - that woman has eyes in the back of her head, it's weird."

Urin sighed a sigh that had the weight of the world behind it. "It wouldn't matter. She'll find a way to keep you if you're useful. If you're not, you're marked for death." And that was all she would say...

... until she thought about it, and then she leaned forward. "How excellent a friend are you? Because I've not had a night of privacy with my husband in many moons, but if a friend of mine was willing to cover the cost of a room, I might tell that friend about the parts of this casino Sandraminae didn't show him."

Kara, Liana & VyeggerThe guard's helmet almost began to chatter with nerves. The weight of Vyegger's glare, and the fact that he could talk without caring that he was bleeding. Liana doing all she could do hold him back. But it was Kara ending the whispering outright that got him worried... mostly because his colleague finally took notice.

"Oi, Septimus, what's going on?" came a bark, and the colleague made her way over with a stern expression.

The guard took one look back at Liana and Vyegger, gulped, then looked back to his compatriot. He gave her a big smile and gestured to Kara. "This is the woman who saved the Warden's life," he explained, which caused a beam to break across her face. "Anyway, she was warning me about a hidden package of Red Sunshine coming through soon."

The female guard's smile vanished. "Urgh. Again? Those damn kobolds... we should just raid that damn herbalist shop by the river! That's where it all gets made."

The male guard shrugged. "I'll bet they pay the Merchant's Guild to stop that. Hey, good thing Miller didn't hear about it."

"What, Gwendoline?" There's a short, humourless laugh. "Too right there! Her and the boss would just take it all. Not even share."

Just GrimIt is a universally acknowledged fact that, outside of other gnomes, gnomes are somewhat niche when it comes to attractiveness.

It is not universally acknowledged, but no less true, that Kitwix Hillivi Grimzinta is charming enough to compensate.

The redheaded human woman was, at first, a bit perplexed by a gnome in a little loincloth approaching her and trying to charm her. Then she listened to him regale her about the places he had seen and the things he had witnessed. Then she began laughing at his jokes, and shuffling a little closer to listen intently. By the time he proposed going upstairs, she had been wishing he'd ask for a few minutes.

With delicate fingers she took his hand, and she and Grim searched for a room that was free. She was giggling and bending down to kiss him all of the way. Quickly, they found a room with no one in it. She was impatient enough to swing the door open and stride straight in.

As the door swung back, it revealed Tilly, arms crossed, foot by the wall, glaring holes straight into Grim.

The woman let out a yelp. It would've been a full-blown scream if there wasn't a slab-like hand raised up. The terrible look she gave to Grim almost made him forget that there should be no way she'd know he'd be in here, in this room. Maybe she was that good. Finally, she grunted, "You're back on shift at 10pm. You're paying for this room. Out of your pay." She then stepped past him, stopping in the doorway. She turned her head and looked to his partner. "... I hear gnomes are pretty good." Then she slammed the door behind Grim.

At first, Grim's partner looked very worried. But then the comfort on the bed she was sitting on took her, and she managed to give him a nervous smile. "Well... I'm not saying no to a free room," she explained, before giving two inviting taps to her left.
Out of CharacterKara, Liana, Vyegger, if you all want to make Knowledge Local rolls to try and suppose what herbalists this could be. Time is getting on now if you want to be back to the Casino when Sandraminae asked you to be.

The pressure of all three questioners seemed to do the trick. The one named Septimus that they spoke to seems to crack under scrutiny of his fellows. Kara looks to the side and exhales sharply from her nostrils as the man gestures to her. She pats Septimus upon the shoulder upon hearing the woman say 'Gwendoline', finally a name to work with.

Kara offers a condolatory nod, "Thank you for assisting in spite of your busy day." She looks over toward the female guard, "This wouldn't happen to be a herbalist off the Dragon Road, is it?" She asks, combining what she heard here, kobolds and some hints about where kobold resided according to her fellow debtors.

After getting such a question answered, and lingering a bit longer for Vyeggar or Liana to voice their questions or concerns, Kara takes notice of the position of the moon. Rubbing the back of her neck and groaning with some irritation, she informs Vyeggar and Liana, "Probably should be running back to do our work, then tell the others about this." Glancing back at the guards, she says once more, her voice showing more sincerity than her stance, "Thanks for your hard work."

Got the scoop, time to scram
right-aligned image
Liana Xirkul had been anxious when Kara chimed in, a bit clumsy and loud. Not the approach she would have chosen, not at all. But it works all right, occasionally sincerity works almost as well as cunning manipulation.

"Thank you friends, you've been helpful. And that's worth remembering." She taps her head, to help her remember.

She will try a Knowledge: local check as suggestedd but it is untrained and fair to block as not allowed. Knowledge checks are often trained onlyShe knows little of this town; she concentrates to see if she can remember anything heard about this local herbalist. Working with her psionic link, she also tries to help Kara remember.

She cheerfully agreed when Kara suggested returning to work. "The gods gave us feet and butts, so we could get our butts to work."

She whistled tunelessly on the way back to the Mermaid. They scored a name of a person to squeeze, and a location of kobolds to interrogate. As for the idea of "saving" the drug addicted lady, well, she had caused Liana and her team hurt, and she wasn't Family. So whether she lived or died was not an issue. The only issue was the mission.

It is a dangerous world: she keeps her eyes and ears pealed on the way back. She uses her psionic talent to try to enhance Kara and her own awareness.

Damien nodded earnestly.

"I appreciate the warning. I'll just have to focus on being as indispensable as possible for the time being then."

Reaching down, the vishkanya withdrew his money again, placing coins down in much the same way he had when buying his drinks. This time however, the sum was considerably more than before.

"And it sounds like you and your husband should take some time to focus on each other. Any decent person would happily facilitate a bit of overdue romance. Who better than your new friend Damien?"

Vyeggar Vugmuk

Credit to @TSRodriguez14

Vyeggar nodded toward Septimus. ”See, that wasn’t so hard. I’ll remember your name. Septimus the guard: “helpful.” Well, I should stop distracting you two so you can get back to guarding this bridge. Wouldn’t want to help let any more law-abiding citizens try to cross without being beaten unconscious first, now would I?” And with a snort, Vyeggar turned and proceeded back toward the casino. He didn’t carry a notebook or a quill; he didn’t need to. The names were in the vault of his mind now. People looked at him and saw a bruiser, a thug, a monster. They underestimated his keen mind, and so Vyeggar often would act as others saw him. It made them weak when they assumed he was stupid, because then when he could and did find something to use against them, they usually never saw it coming. All he needed was a crack to insert himself into, and he would be in, and then there would be hell to pay.

Vyeggar tried to whistle a little tune as he walked, a chorus of sorts to join Liana’s little birdsong. Unfortunately, the guards and their clubs had taken even that small joy from him; his shattered teeth only blew wet air. He snarled in disgust and kicked a stone on the ground with the toe of his scuffed leather boots. He wasn’t tired; he should have been, after the day he’d had, but his adrenaline and his anger pushed him on. He had a lead – why was he not pressing it to his advantage? Miller, Gwendoline, the herbalist shop. There were names and places, and he couldn’t check in on any of them yet. Why? Because of that damned one-eyed orc bitch. She was going to wring every coin, every drop of blood, every pound of flesh, from their worthless hides until they’d paid off her damned stupid box, or until they were broken and bleeding and lifeless like the others who had tried to take what didn’t belong to them. Well. Let her try than. The church tried to bleed him to death, yet here he was. The guards tried to beat him until he was braindead, yet he still soldiered on. But Tilly – she was the one holding all the cards right now, in the form of his brother’s whereabouts. To the rest of these schlubs, they only had their worthless skins to care about. Vyeggar had no such reservation; he could care less about what happened to his own ugly carcass. But living to find an answer to where Valdik might be – that was worth more than ten of those stupid chests.

When the trio finally made it back to the casino, it was just a short time before the shift started. Good; time for a drink. Vyeggar nodded to the barkeep to grab the whiskey. ”A double. And make it quick, I’m headed to the ring.” He downed the dark liquid,, mumbled something about putting it on his tab, then strutted over to the ring.

”Alright, boys, let’s see it. Come on, one of you sad sacks has to have some stones. Come knock me down.” He pointed to Kara. ”She’s got bigger balls than any of you milk-drinkers. Come on then, cowards. You want to shut me up? Come do it. Put your coin where your mouth is.” And he pounded his fist into his palm and

roared.

Hopefully this will drum up a little extra business for me... and Kara too, I guess. She is a tough little broad. Wonder how she'd do against me, he wondered, waiting for his next challenger.

Grim and friend
right-aligned image

To say Grim was shocked at the arrival of Tilly would be an understatement, so shocked in fact that for once he was at a loss for words. which was probably a good thing considering her displeasure, but it let her get her statement out and leave before he had a chance to talk back and perhaps make things worse. He would have to do a better job keeping an eye on her, there was no way he could think of that would explain how she knew where he would be, he hadn't known himself until just before they entered the room. it seemed Tilly had some magics of her own.

He doesn't dwell on it very long though as his new companion captures his attention again, inviting him to join her on the bed and it would be very impolite of him not to accept her offer. after all, it seemed he was now paying for the room for the night so he may was well make full use of it. turning the key to lock the door, Grim joins his new friend

It is a struggle, his bruised and now very tired body protesting at being made to get out of the warm and extremely comfortable bed to go finish his shift at the tables, but reluctantly Grim slides out of the embrace of his companion and leaves her sleeping, with a whispered promise to rejoin her after the remainder of his shift if over.

He has already paid for the room and given the choice between sleeping in the common room or in a private room with a very enchanting, and limber redhead, what man with any sense would choose the common room?

If it wasn't for the last lingering embers of his magic, Grim would not have made it to the Tables on time, he had already invoked Tilly's displeasure this evening and he didn't relish the idea of giving her even more reason to dislike him by being tardy. Luckily the prestidigitation aura still had some time on it before it dissipated from his use of it earlier that evening in the bedroom and he was able to use its magics to freshen up and get dressed in a clean uniform in time.

As amusing as it would have been, and as distracting to the players to show up to the table fresh out of bed and his prior activities obvious, it would not be very professional and would likely displease Lady Sandraminae more than it did Tilly, and for some reason he found the thought of upsetting the Elven hostess more disconcerting than it should be.

His magic spent and his attention wavering from the culmination of a very eventful day, Grim's attempts to gather information were at best half hearted and before long he gave up for the evening, focusing on the game at hand and passing his shift as quickly as he could so he could return to the warm bed waiting for him upstairs and the hopefully even warmer welcome of the young lady in it.

Tarbin Haldar
right-aligned image

Tarbin slowly nodded, there was obviously some big secret about what went on downstairs and the Carpenter was one of the few that knew what that was. Not wanting to push too hard and ruffle feathers on the very first day Tarbin let the subject drop though he took a mental note that there was something important downstairs. ”Like I said I’m no Carpenter but if you ever need help with the chairs just let me know…” Tarbin added as a last remark. While Tarbin did not know much about Edward Fletcher the carpenter struck him as someone with simple origins much like himself and someone who would be good to have as a friend.

”She’s the boss right? Must have plenty of eyes working for her to tell her about someone stealing from her?” Tarbin replied with a shrug. ”Though you seem to think it was a bit more impressive than that?” Tarbin then questioned with a raised eyebrow.

”You’ve worked here a while right mister Fletcher? What’s it like working here?” Tarbin then questioned with honest curiosity.

Liana Xirkul will get to work back at the Mermaid. She will try her hand at the Conch Shell Game. Along the way she gives friendly nods or greetings to the other staff -- especially the ladies and gentlemen of the night.

In the Conch Shell Game, her natural talents will support her playing to the mark's insecurity, encouraging them in subtle ways to take unwise risks, or to back off on their bets when they could have won. The game is new to her, but easy to pick up. She keeps up intense concentration for the evening, enjoying the challenge. She plays a solid batch of games. Nothing brilliant, but no conspicuous errors either.

When it comes time to retire for the evening, Liana will share what has been learned about the foray to the bridges. She does so, confidentially, to just the company in debt-servitude.

Gwendoline was the drugged-up pale guard woman, high on Red Sunshine; girlfriend of the head guard. She will do anything to get her stash replenished. She is guessing that Gwendoline was hired and paid with drugs to let the attack and theft happen. There is a herbalist shop by the river that is the She rolled great on a Knowledge Local check (but is untrained) -- maybe she knows more?claimed source of all the Red Sunshine. The Merchant Guild is in cahoots with the herbalist shop, presumably in distributing and selling drugs.

Damien and TarbinEdward Fletcher had a worried brow for Tarbin. "Oh, she has plenty of eyes working for her. But she has this thing about her. She just knows when someone's up to no good." He then immediately clammed up. "Maybe I've spoken too much. I wanna keep this job. She's a slave-driver, but she pays me well at least. Speaking of work, I think your break will be up soon."

Meanwhile, Damien found his conversation ending quickly as Urin's eyes lit up with excitement. She very quickly pocketed the coins. "I'll tell my husband the good news. It's always good to make new friends. Then she shuffled away.

Kara, Liana & VyeggerThe female guard nodded to Kara's question. "Yeah, that's the one. The one named after Dragon Road. Of course, it all seems legitimate on the higher levels, but below... no, it's totally full of drug dealers and the like."

Septimus added, "According to the 'rumours'," with the largest finger-quotes that he could make. Both seemed happy with your approval, though Septimus was especially happy to see you leave - he clearly realised the danger just the three of you posed, or at least your ability to cause trouble.

The Gang is Back TogetherKara, Vyegger and Liana arrived just in time to return to their jobs. Vyegger actually managed to cause quite a stir with his boisterous tone. Not that it let him outperform Kara, who was like a vapour in the ring - formless and dangerous. But money was money, and plenty came their way. Tarbin, meanwhile, still struggled to get the hang of this form of wrestling. More on another night he'd be more successful.

Liana found Conch Shell Call more suited to her skills than Burlesque, at least with this crowd. Sex, humour and traditional dance may sell one night and fail another, but flattery always brought the easy marks. Damien and Grim, meanwhile, just carried on as before.

The night dragged on and on, getting longer and longer, but just as the place was at its most packed, one by one, you all received a tap on the shoulder. A stocky dwarven woman with only a few gray hairs amongst her blonde locks. Only Damien recognised her - Urin. "Already, newbies. Unless you're also doing sex work tonight, the shift is over soon. Sandraminae and Tilly will be seeing us all in the common room soon to hand out the wages."

Fifteen minutes in the common room - just enough time to compare notes and plan for tomorrow. Though Grim got another tap on his shoulders from a familiar face. "Found you at last," said the redhead from before, gesturing up the stairs. "I was hoping to find out what other tricks you can do."
Out of CharacterDue to Liana changing roles and doing quite well, she makes an additional 20gp.

Vyegger and Kara make an additional 10gp each due to Vyegger's taunts.

Grim and friend
right-aligned image

Finishing up his shift at the tables, he finds he has a clear view of the front entrance and like many others he finds himself looking over when it opens, pleasantly surprised to see the still weeping scarred face of Vyeggar returning to the casino, although he looks like he has taken a beating, they all have after all, it doesn't look like he has taken a fresh one and he finds himself smiling as Kara and Liana quickly follow the half Orc back inside from their trip to the bridge, looking a lot more appealing to the eye than Yveggar does.

Snagging a drink from the bar as he is passing, Grim makes his way as quick as his little legs will carry him to the common room to meet up with his new friends and find out if they had any better look searching for clues than he has had this evening, although he cant help chuckling as he has to admit to himself that for an enjoyable portion of the evening he was distracted from his information gathering.

A distraction which proved to be a precursor to an even more distracting night it seemed as he felt the soft tap on his shoulder and he turned to look up and see the smiling face of his current lady love looking down at him, and making it clear she was still interested in his company for the night. At her offer, Grim couldn't help be flattered and grin

"But of course my beautiful Phoenix, our earlier meeting although extremely enjoyable, was far too short a time for me to show you all my tricks. The room is ours for the night and i am very much looking forward to showing you several things i learnt while on an excursion to the fabled Nymph lakes of the Amber Isles" Grim says with a wink, holding out his empty hand to her and making a Simple Sleight of hand with 2 of his remaining gold piecesflourish with his fingers, 2 golden coins suddenly dancing over his fingers, chasing each other around and around before dropping into her palm.

"I just have some business to discuss with my co-workers for a few moments then i will join you in our room, perhaps you can go and procure us some more drinks and some food for the evening, the techniques the Nymphs taught me really work up an appetite for both people involved"

Turning his attention back to the group as she leaves with a smile, trying to imagine what a Nymph could teach and wondering where the Amber Isles were, Grim listens as they pass on the information about the Miller girl and the location of the Herbalist shop as the distributor of the Red Sunshine. all of the pieces seeming to fit together nicely.

"Yes that does seem to match up with what i heard as well, the Kobold's seem to have been making in roads in the drug trade close to the bridge and this Dragons Road Herbalist Shop would be an ideal place to conduct business from. It was my intention to use some of the earnings from tonight to procure some of Ms Millers drug of choice for our meeting as an incentive to talk to us but i wasn't sure if i could have found a supplier so easily but it seems like a trip to this herbalist could be the place we need to visit first"

"in the morning of course, unless there is something else we need to work out before hand? I thinks it is time we receive some payment for our work tonight and i do have a prior commitment i am very eager to get too"

The fight went fine as was expected, and at the end Vyeggar gave an approving nod in Kara's direction. "Damn, girly. You keep that up, I might almost start to respect you." To the curly headed hayseed Tarbin, Vyeggar just gives a raise of the eyebrow and a touch of a sneer: Is that all you got?

By this point it was past midnight, but it may as well have been noon for how warm it was. Vyeggar's pale green chest glistens with sweat and he grabs a towel off a nearby bench and drapes it casually over the back of his neck. "By the gods, it's hot in here. What I wouldn't give for a big bag of ice to put on the back of my neck." The half-orc gave a mighty yawn, then gasped in pain. His face still ached, and the mighty yawn stretched open wounds that struggled to remain closed. He could feel the telltale tickle of blood tracing its way down his cheeks, and he did his best to ignore it. He was too damned hot and sluggish feeling to move his arms. He needed sleep. The concussion which had been so debilitating earlier that morning had largely gone away, but largely was not completely. Coupled with the physical toll of the evening's two earlier bouts and the overall pain from the assault by the guards, Vyeggar felt a crushing wave of exhaustion roll over him like the tide. What is this? Why am I so weak? Is this a side-effect of the church bleeding me for so long? Sophi, please, help me.

It was clear that somehow the day still was not over. Apparently they had to go meet with Sandramine and Tilly to receive their "wages."

"What's the damned point of her paying us if we're just going to turn around and hand it right back to her?" he snarled. He was about to tell her where she could put her coins, but the fight died in his throat. See it through, his tired brain reasoned. Go through the motions, do what you have to do. Your fight is not with Tilly.

Isn't it, though? the deadly voice in the back of his mind pushed back. She holds my brother's whereabouts over my head like a master holding a nice chunk of beef over his dog's slathering jaws. She is pulling your strings to perfection. Show her. Wait until she sleeps and show her you are no one's puppet.

"I am for now," he mumbled to himself. The dark voice went silent, but silent was not gone. He followed the others into the back room and found a seat about ten feet apart from the others. He had used up what little camaraderie had been apportioned to him this day. They were going to be working together to pay off this debt for what seemed an interminable length of time; best to space out his interactions with the others as much as possible. It'll take them longer to get sick of you that way, he thought, though that was piss-poor logic. Vyeggar's head lolled back against the wall, his eyes glazed with fatigue, while the halfling girl droned on, filling in the others with that afternoon's findings. That one's already sick of you, his tired mind reasoned. Best watch your mouth around her, if'n you don't want to catch a dagger in the ankle. The thought of short little Liana attacking his ankle with a tiny dagger made him snort with laughter, interrupting the girl's update to the others.

"Heh. Sorry. Thought of something funny. Go on."

Our mutual friend Talafax recommended this place

The zealot was pleased to have earned a little more coin.

As the others were sharing their day's events Liana remembered just a little bit more about the Dragon Road Herbalist. "I overheard some folks visiting with the Cirque -- they were talking about that shop. There is a witch who watches over a hidden passage that leads to where they sell the illegal stuff. Tell the pass-phrase, 'Our mutual friend Talafax recommended this place' and they'll let you in."

She heard Vyeggar's snort at her as she gave her update. What is it with that brute? Can't he appreciate a useful clue? Then she realized: Oh, he couldn't use that pass phrase. The 'mutual friend' was false on the face of it. Because obviously even Talafax wouldn't befriend such a hideous beast.

She mock-sniffled. "Sniff. Sorry. Thought of something kind of sad."

Well, before turning in for the night there was one last thing to do. She checked the main hall, was there a certain old man at the gambling tables? A man who had a had a bad habit of getting hauled out and beaten. If she spots him, she has a plan ... if not: well she can not stay long ... she needs to sleep.

The vishkanya said nothing of his new discovery to the others for the moment. It wasn't as though he didn't trust them... well, trust them any less than he trusted ANYBODY at least... but until he had more information, he couldn't be sure the secret areas he'd been told about were relevant to their investigation. He also couldn't be sure quite yet that this wasn't all a trap designed to weed out spies. If Tilly hadn't already been trying to do that before her chest was stolen, she'd almost certainly be now, and the last thing Damien needed was for he and the others to coordinate any half-baked plans regarding the secret areas of her establishment, only to be marked as the very double-agents they were looking for and put to death.

Luckily, there WAS something concrete and actionable already on the table, and as Liana shared what she and the others had found, Damien had to admit he was impressed with their hustle. It was decent intel for such a short amount of time, and as Grim expounded with his own findings and the beginnings of a plan, the vishkanya tipped an imaginary hat to them.

"That puts us one step closer... good work, all of you. We hit Dragons Road tomorrow then; get our hands on some product, and see what other clues we can shake loose as we go." Specifically, Damien would be looking for the scarred kobold. He'd be looking for an opportunity to show the little thief what it felt like to have a boot grinding your head into the dirt.
OOCI've got more to say, but I don't want to get too ahead of the scene. I'll wait until after our meeting with Tilly and Sandraminae.
