An OOC question for Stateman - Favoured class, how will that work? Normally it is the class you take at first level, but we are being a little different here.

Not that it makes a huge difference (except for any half elves) as we will have one in and one out of favoured class.
Also, any hints about languages that may be helpful for that point of linguistics?

Ohh, another edit. Rogan starts of poor, for sure. (not that +1 wis helps him, but...) I had him down as a "blacksmith" for his crafting, but noted that is not one of the recommended PF crafts. Given his background he could have been a weaponsmith I guess, but blacksmith just feels better for him. Can I take a set of blacksmiths tools as his "item worth up to 50gp" ?

Not that there is probably a lot of need for a smith in a mages academy (mending spells, flying steeds and all that). Poor Rogan, he is a bit of a hillbilly at times.
