Game Info Rosscoe began to gather up the useful resources as best he could. Always one for details, the torn pages caught his attention and he picked a few up to take a gander at their contents. Letters had always come easy to the wee fella, even if he couldn't read the language per-say. "Jemmer, I t'ink these are fer you. They look arcanic to me." He set the collected pages near the door where Jember would see the when he walked in, then continued to rummage.

Game Info Not one for silence, Rosscoe asked Jemby if he had a chance to read those documents, but Jemby either didn't hear him or was off in his own mind pondering whatever it is human wizards ponder. Finally though, the smoke was spotted on the horizion.

You told me what the documents were right? It was the Command Undead scroll correct? Was there anything else? I hope I did not miss something. Maybe a note that says there are nice orcs and goblins in the land?

Nope, just a scroll of command undead. But based upon the creatures that are moving forward, you don't need a ice of paper to tell that there are indeed dark folks in this area.

As for the items. You just glanced at them, you didn't study them closely and try to figure out what they are in detail (outside of the scroll). Those items are located in the loot thread.

So on the bright side, I've finished and turned in my thesis. On the less bright side, I have to go to a conference Tuesday through Friday and likely won't be able to post during this span...sorry everybody.

If it helps, as a general guideline Ríven does not intend to charge ahead of the rest of the group and straight into the mass of orcs.

Alright, I'm back, done with my thesis, etc. and ready to give my games the full attention again.

Also, I hope Rosscoe can talk us out of this, because at the rate Ríven is going, it'll take her at least 6 rounds to kill a single orc, if I miraculously roll an 18 or higher on my attack roll every time

So I got a PM back from Chuck and he's going to bail out of the game.

I have an invite out to someone who knows Farlandworld that might work out, but if he says no it would help if anyone has any suggestions for a replacement. I'd like a dwarven fighter type if possible -- just cause it works with the game -- but can be flexible with the class.

Hey guys, Xian is going to join us, taking Chuck's place. The plan is to get through this action with Chuck's character, then we'll shift over to his character concept.

This means Mike can change his character background if he wants too.

So - if everyone can keep on posting, that'd be awesome!

Just wanted to say that I am excited to join the group here and thanks to Squeak for taking me in! Hopefully, I won't hold things up too much as I get spun on the situation and the game world!

. Yes, keep everything the same. He'll play the current char thru this combat, then he may or may not tweak.

No change to the battle map, except #2 is down.

From what I can tell from the last two pages before this one, it looks like we are out in the woods with minimal clothing and some improvised weapons after we have accepted becoming a Lord of Destiny? If it is possible then my character, to have picked up a iron skillet? Not only is it good for cooking, but apparently can be very awesome weapons... so I have heard...

Sure, I'll allow that. Let's assume you pull it out of the sack and nobody noticed you put it there.

It would have been easier to pick up a club (there was a buttload of firewood), but nobody thought of that.

You can have a pan that functions as an don't forget the improvisation penaltyimprovised club. Also note that the bad guys threw down clubs, if you could get to them...

Iron skillet just looks cooler...

But yeah... will look at grabbing one of the discarded clubs if things start looking bleak...

BTW, I forgot to add the strength +3 damage to the iron skillet attack so it should be 5 points of damage which is just a bit more respectable... but not much...
