Party of six, of which three of you have some form of psychic power, though only two are manifesters and neither of those are full casters.
The blood witch is your only full caster... enjoy. |

Thats fine... Telepathy will still be able to work its... well, magic seems out of place in that sentence but you get the idea.

Actually Lee is a manifester, Gifted Blade archetype.

Yeah, for better or for worse, I'm the only full-caster. Good thing I have a high ConPROTECT ME!
Ok, I fixed the item creation stuff. I took off the constant effects, put on a Shield enhancement +2 and a Hat of Disguise effect, both subject to the 1.5 multiplier. The slight net gain on gp also let me buy a potion of Invisibility. You know, for when I need to run away and let the stabby-stabby folks take all the hits. The crafting costs on the Mask should then look like:
My AC still shouldn't be *abysmal* when I have up Mage Armor and Scarshield (my math tells me 22, which ain't too bad for a full-caster in my opinion), so hopefully most things won't be auto-hitting me. It's not explicitly stated, but seeing as how Scarshield replaces a hex, I'm assuming it functions in all ways like a hex. Last edited by GeoAvanti; Mar 14th, 2014 at 06:27 PM. |

Don't fall into the trap of treating Scarshield like a hex. I don't think it will come up, but if something affects your hexes, it doesn't affect Scarshield. (likewise not technically having a hex means that you can't take Extra Hex at the first level).
The rest looks good. Last edited by TheMystic; Mar 14th, 2014 at 06:54 PM. |

I presume we are waiting on all of the sheets to be completed, is there anything you are waiting on TheMystic, or just working through them. Fine if you are, just making sure you aren't waiting on anything from me or anyone else

I am still waiting on JohnStone with Lee Chen. However, I will start this week, regardless.

I have posted the game thread. JohnStone has not been on the site for several days, so we shall proceed without him for the moment.

Awesome - I will let any tactician's discuss any plans before making my first post (knowing that the best of plans lasts until the first sword swings before they fall apart. But at least knowing responsibilities and expectations would help since our characters would at least know that much about each other.
Strider's strengths are well rangerish, his bow and skills to get around unnoticed. Definitely not a meat shield and more of a striker (not sniper in the true sense). That is my intent on how I will be wanting to play him combat wise, personality, well we will see what comes out. @ TheMystic, are we to presume that this group has worked together in the past and all knows one another or that we are getting together for the first time as a unit.

Indeed, presume you have worked together before. This war has been going on for nearly six months, so most of you have been in the advanced scouts for at least two, perhaps even four. Not long enough to be a well oiled team perhaps, but long enough to know each other's strengths.
My intention here is to give you a bit of a picture of just how capable you are, then move onto some of the more detailed aspects of your roles as scouts. And remember everyone. Be Prepared. ![]() |

For the avenue of tactics, most of my spells will be dedicated to party support and battlefield utility, with most of my debuffs coming from Hexes. In general, anyway. I've not many direct damage spells, but I've got plenty of ways to throw out even more debuffs if we need them. In this case, I encourage anyone with a tactical mind to ask me what kinds of spell support they would want.
I've got most of the key support spells for my level: Enlarge Person, Haste, Glitterdust, Web, Summon Monster III, Ash Storm. I can throw crowd control all day long or simply chuck out hexes against individual enemies. I'm more than willing to step back and do what someone in charge wants of me. Depending on what's asked, I could even make ready a Speak With Dead spell if we'd rather not take prisoners for questioning. Last edited by GeoAvanti; Mar 21st, 2014 at 01:26 PM. |

Most of my feats went towards making my metamorphosis ability pretty much an at-will shapeshifting, with the remainder improving my ranged combat. So I'm best at range and can actually pull off some combat maneuvers with a ranged attack, but when necessary I can Hulk Out and do semi-decent as a melee bruiser(+size and cleave or strength) or tank(+size and temp hp).
My few psionic powers are most non-combat. Chameleon, Detect Psionics, etc. Though in a pinch I might be able to pull off some fun shenanigans with Trick Shot ![]() |
