Thanks for accepting me! I worked on Sydney Rose all day Sunday, as I wanted her to be something "different" in terms of melee-combatants. The Pathfinder RP looks great and I can't wait to get into the game.

Heh, I was thinking I wouldn't get accepted with the slew of other great apps hanging around. I feel bound to respond to your critique of my app for some reason. Probably because I'm used to either getting gushing praise or just plain ignored.
As far as the criticisms go, I'm the first to admit that I get wordy - and run-ons definitely aren't out of the question given that I never gave the thing my sometimes-obsessive polish. My original concept for the character basically leaped right out of the Sorcerer entry for the Destined bloodline - plucky short guy with a deep-seated belief he's kind of a big deal. That, and the idea of the not-always heroic destiny I quoted Knights of the Old Republic as inspiration on. I got a pretty good idea for his personality (though I personally felt I hadn't done it justice) but the background just kind of left me staring blankly. I never did get inspired on that, and I threw the app up with the intent of fleshing it out. Unfortunately, I never did get around to that, for various reasons. As for the praise, well, I won't look the gift horse in the mouth. Anyway, back to the game proper - I'm definitely excited about the Pathfinder system and I'm very glad to be here. I just hope I can live up to expectations. As far as character sheets, I think I'll roll and meditate on the specifics overnight. I'll be sure to have it done by tomorrow, first chance I get.

I can understand not getting back around to things. I felt the other aspects of the application warranted this spot though. Welcome aboard.

If we could be ready to roll with character sheets on Thursday. I will progress the story on Friday.

If I didn't manage to mess up anything with my charsheet (which I did amend somewhat heavily after realizing that the past few days of the character have been spent in an urban environment), mine's already to go. Unfortunately, I've been apprised of some bad news, and I've already copied it around a couple of places so I'll just quote it here.

Alright thanks for the warning Owen. I hope everything goes alright and you stay safe.

Thank you for the concern. I'm optimistically hoping nothing will happen (to me, anyway), but best to be safe.

Hurricane update I've been giving;
Still looks like it'll come in at Corpus Christi, well enough west of here to not be a problem, but a more direct hit's still a pretty good chance, particularly if it stays slow. Regardless of how it goes, a lot of rain is likely. A lot of rain means a pretty good potential for me to get flooded, so a likely case is that I'll disappear for a few days, but not a few weeks like in a worst-case scenario. I'll keep you posted; the path of the storm and course of action I'll be taking should be more definite come Thursday or Friday, depending. The projected hit-time is sometime late Friday or early Saturday. That probably means I'll be going under right about the time we get started, either frantically preparing to weather it out or getting ready to get the hell outta Dodge. I could either go ahead and preemptively write a response to the current game thread (I've already had some ideas about it) and dan can NPC me should things go poorly, or we can just wait until after the thing has blown through to introduce Beau. Either way is fine with me.

Go ahead and post until you are no longer able and then I can take over if that works with you.

Yeah, well, that came sooner than normal. I've got what I've been saying everywhere copied here.
Alright, **** just got out of hand - they've decided the sucker's not just going to hit us, but curve over us again. Not to mention it's huge, and potentially a Category 4. I wasn't really scared until now, and now I'm terrified, mainly 'cause it's gotten worse, and it's so ****ing huge that just about anywhere it hits in that cone of uncertainty we've got the worst side of the storm. Counties around us have just issued mandatory evacuations, mostly this late because all the state's resources are further west. Schools closed down, the whole shebang. The thing's wide enough to tear up the whole coast and I'm not even sure I'm being coherent. Suffice it to say, I'm definitely not going to be able to post here, and I dare not even guess how long it'll be for. I hope the game goes well for everybody, and I appreciate well-wishes and such, but I'm probably not going to get a chance to check back in. I'll either be evacuating or hurriedly hunkering down, and the damage will be done sometime Friday night or Saturday morning.

Alright with the exception of Owen, story posts need to be up by tomorrow please.
Owen we will work you in when you are safely back in your home, or when you are able to post again with any sort or frequency. Again best of wishes with the hurricane situation.
