2 quick questions, would the clocksmith archetype for wizard be allowed and, in that vein, would pre-game crafting be allowed? Like the idea of a little wizard with a couple of clockwork songbirds on his shoulders.

Let me think on the first and get back to you. Clockworks would mostly be imported from dwarves, but halflings have a good relationship with dwarves. No on the pre-game crafting. If you specifically want a clockwork bird "pet", consider a familiar with the Figment archetype.
Also, as a general note, I want to remind everyone that this specific game is a one off. There won't be time for crafting or anything that requires long term commitment (like builds that trade off power in early levels to be more powerful in later levels.)

Didn't end up mentally coming together but to those who get in I am sure this will be a great game!

@MundayKnight - If you still want it, clocksmith would be fine. You'd be a rarity in Hearthome, but it's possible. Non-PHB bloodlines are fine.
@Everyone: I'm going to start reviews tonight. Bear in mind that the reviews will be almost entirely lore and setting related. I'm not interested in changing your character, only in helping them fit into the setting.

I've gone *checks notes* over two months with zero obligations beyond myself. So, of course, when I do have obligations, they all hit at once. Smdh. I would much rather be doing this than waiting at the vet for another day, though.
Two things: 1.) These suggestions are just that. They're designed to help your idea of your character align better with the ideas I have about the world lore. I may bring up something I've decided to add between your post and now, or I may bring up something I haven't explicitly stated but is part of my world vision. Regardless, I've put enough constraints on your imagination as is. I'm not expecting or demanding any of the changes I might suggest. 2.) If you don't see your name in a secreted review, I think you're on the right track and don't have any suggestions based on the lore. No review is a neutral position on eventual acceptance, neither good or bad. I simply think you've done a good job interpreting my ideas so far. Thank you all for the attention you've paid to a project that's taken so much of my time to produce.

I hope the vet obligations go ok! Thanks for the reviews.

No problem everyone. The vet report has me a bit confused but it's nothing immediate.
We've got about ten more days before I bring things to a close and start player selection. Feel free to make any changes you'd like in that time. As noted, my reviews were solely lore based, so I didn't touch on anything like grammar or artistry.
