So I Requested a Game and...

Would it be possible to cancel the requested game before the ad goes up (if it goes up - I've never DM'd before, I don't know how this works, exactly)? I don't know where else to request this and forgot we could do interest checks - I do have other game ideas and would like to see which one provokes the most interest.

canceling between submitting the request and the ad going up cannot be done.

but the game ad can be canceled.


Edit: it appears you did not ask for an ad to be created, so no ad will be until you do so. right now, your game request is in limbo.

Could I request that the advert go up only if the concept beats out its competitors during an interest check?

It would likely be better for you to copy all the information you used in your ad, and store it (word doc). Then, we would delete the game request.

Then, you can run your interest check, and determine if you want to redo your ad again, or not. If you don't, then nothing needed. If you do, you just paste all your info again, check the "create an ad box" this time, and you are back in business.


Trying to keep your game request without an ad in the system limbo for.... several weeks? a month? More? would be difficult, and it might get scrubbed accidentally.
