The Stars' Beauty is Reflected in the Ocean Name: Chak Ek (Red Star) Race: Sea Elf Class: Circle of Stars Druid Background: Inquisitor (Religious Functionary) Alignment: Lawful Neutral   Str 8 Dex 14 Con 14 Wis 18 including +1 from Observant Int 12 Cha 10   Chak Ek is a rule follower, a functionary, they do what they are told by their superiors and take pride in carrying out tasks to the letter. Their language is always precise, their dress always neat and ordered. Feature: Legal Authority As an inquisitor of the church, you have the authority to arrest criminals. In the absence of other authorities, you are authorized to pass judgment and even carry out sentencing. If you abuse this power, however, your superiors in the church might strip it from you. Trait: I am tolerant of other faiths and respect the worship of other gods. Trait: I'm willing to listen to every side of an argument before I make my own judgment. Ideal: The path to power and self-improvement is through knowledge. Bond: I sold my soul to the gods for knowledge of the stars; I hope to do great deeds and win it back Flaw: I sometimes overlook obvious solutions in favor of complicated ones.   Chak Ek grew up obsessed by the stars. Their beauty, their mystery, the stories of them; by adolescence they could name every visible constellation and tell you its location and mythology . . . and they would. When it became time for their manhood rite, they chose to join the priesthood to learn the secrets only priest know of the stars. Ummm, what original? Sea elf is from Mordenkainen's, triton is from Volo's, genasi is from elemental evil's, as far as I know.

I updated the list of ready applications, and we have one day left.

I'm very excited about this, I've never been in a game so far from the standard western fantasy style, either as a player or a GM.

And someone asked, which I overlooked, so yes we use shells as money instead of gold coins.
