Appearance: Unit ME-434343, AKA Ronin, though a bot, like most bots of the ME series, Ronin looks like any other human, specifically, modeled after a famous Samoan MMA fighter from the states, Salamasina Tavu'i. Like the real Salamashin, Ronin looks to be built like a **** brick-house. 6’5”, and rippled with artificial musicals, Ronin looke’s like she’s built to **** **** up. This is what made it the prime target for it’s “awakening”, giving Ronin it’s own conscience. Like most islanders, Ronin’s artificial flesh is a dart tan and Covered in ink and scars. It’s arms are covered with black dragons with flames through it’s head, torso, back and legs. When on a job, Ronin usually wears a basic outfit of sport bra, long coat, cargo jeans and steel clad combat boots. Ronin has a number of rings decorating it’s ears, right eyebrow and even it’s naval. The artificial hair is thousands of fiber optic cords which are mostly coal black and end in the glowing red of neon coal. The majority of it’s clothes is black with a glowing neon green.

Backstory: Unit ME-434343 or Ronin is a ME line synth that was hi-jacked and reprogrammed by a local Hacker Gang. Ronin’s former “Liberators” had retrofitted the synth with for one thing in mind, to fight and kill. One specifically, romanticized the ways of the Street Samurai, Ronins and the ancient beliefs of Bushido. There was one major flaw with their plan, the hacker who reprogrammed Ronin’s AI had felt cheated by the gang leader, so he programmed her to show no loyalty to the gang and proceeded to use Ronin to kill the leader. With the death of the leader, the gang broke into infighting and ultimately collapsed.

Now, Ronin roams Berlin’s darkest streets and the criminal underground, looking for work as a Hired Blade, whether that be security, a thug, bounty hunting or plain hitman. A short time back, Ronin was badly damaged during a job and its system crashed in an alleyway. It was lucky when Corwyn stumbled upon it and had helped by bringing Ronin to a friend who was then able to repair it. Since then, Ronin has pledged it’s complete loyalty to Corwyn.

A Major Gang: The Crimson Onis~ Former members of the Yakuza who has relocated to Germany. To most, the Crimson Oni are nothing more then common thugs, feuding with other smaller gangs. The Crimson Oni are usually easy to identify as they almost always wear half or full oni masks, typically painted red. Almost all oni prefer to use melee weapons as most Street Samurai and are almost always decked out to cybernetics to the point of no return. Do to the way the Oni and Yakuza split, the two gangs are feuding to all out war.

A Megacorp: Valk Tech Industries~ Valk Tech is one of the leading german based manufacturers of military-grade Micro-Fliers, CASARs, Drop Crafts and drones. Their Valkyrie-class of Micro-Fliers are known as some of the best, it not some of the most expensive.

Well, it's very intriguing! It would be interesting to have sentient robots (or synthetic life, whatever you want to call it) in game. Lots of depth to be explored there. What it means to be human, sentient, the value of life, the existence of soul.

Also, I am curious how it works mechanically. Don't quite think traditional medical skills, nor that of a mechanic, nor a ripper doc may be very compatible with healing/repairing a synth being. But I guess there's got to be some way to heal/repair them.

Name: Lien Tronek

Background: Lien was once part of a Famous Security Megacorporation, He had big dreams of serving the public and saving lives. Even if it was just about helping good old ladies cross the street or helping putting the bad guys away. He felt the call to serve the city. However one day a biker gang's head honcho had finally gotten sent off to jail and they blamed Lien for it.

They eventually found out where he lived and torched the building and his daughter and wife passed away trying to escape along with many others. He had pleaded to the megacorp to help him financially solve these murders, but they didn’t think it was worth the time as many other VIPs had the money to buy the services.

Lien left the Corp and turned to vigilantism while Pursuing his one goal to find the biker gang that took the lives of his wife and daughter.

Backstory: The rain had begun as Lien walked down the streets, passing pedestrians along the sidewalk. He wondered how long it had been as he looked at his old style digital watch on his wrist. “Well the cops will find him eventually as long as he doesn’t do anything stupid” He thought to himself. He had just gotten done with a job as he eventually arrived at his destination.

A flower shop. Walking up to the store owner he smiled at the old lady and paid for a bouquet of roses picked fresh from the owners greenhouse. Taking his purchase he continued his journey that would eventually end up in front of an old building that had been abandoned since it caught fire. He gently placed the purchased flowers on the door steps where many people once passed through to get in.

Pulling from his pocket a small locket and taking a look revealing a picture of two women one his wife and the other his daughter. Tears came down his face as he slowly closed it “I will find the perp one of these days… no matter how long it will take I promise… You… The dam security corporation doesn’t care… no one does. No matter how many of those bike gangers I have to put into the ground. Justice will be served one way or another” These thoughts raced in his head as he slowly walked away from the building as his phone rang and pulled it out checking the caller ID it said "Corwyn"

"Whats she calling for?" he thought to himself as he knew that she probably have a job as he walked down the rainy streets

A Major Gang: The Devils Angels Biker Gang. Notorious scum who prey on the weak and do whatever it takes to expand their territory. They deal in everything from Narcotics too illegal cybernetic Repoing.

A Megacorp: Erikson Incorporated, Eriksion once delt with nothing but basic home security systems, but once the CEO Erikson inherited the corp from his father. He has now turned it into the cities brightest security software company that now provides man powered security to many mom and pop stores all the way up to many governmental buildings.

Suds application Name: Sony "Shepherd" Walkman Background: Technician Focus: Drone Pilot Edges: Masterful Expertise, Focused (Ace Driver) Goal(s): Revenge or embarassment for the Corp that dropped him. Setting up a legit delivery/support business for his kind of people. Appearance: Backstory: Worked for Blick von der Spree (BvdS) a subsiduary of NEONET till a news broadcast he was working on went wrong. Filming outside a music event when a nasty gang fight broke and half their team became collateral damage. Ensuring the live feed showed their news team trying to help saved some of the teams jobs but lost cost Sony his as the footage happened to put a gang being used by BvdS or NEONET in a time and place that presumably cost them money or a deal or something. Sony doesn't know but he's angry abouts losing his job and angry that the families of the dead never got any support. Since then he got into 'delivery' work some of it charitable, running food, drugs, weapons for those in need as well as those that pay. That's how he met Corwyn, word of mouth from a good deed, by being able to more reliably get pharma goods to her. By car or drone he gets your goods there at least 65% of the time, obviously a number he made up but away from the corp run neighbourhoods its hard to find someone better than this 15 percent-er. A Major Gang: Stahlklau (Steel Thieves) Dont get caught flashing your chrome when these folks are around as they'll have you in the back of their ripper vans, stripped and parts already sold before you can hit that medevac button. Need some chrome this group can help but dont ask where it came from and always get someone else to clean and check. Not saying they've been know to repo their goods because that can get you killed, just some friendly caution. A Megacorp: NEONET (Neoteric Electronic Online News and Entertainment Trust) A specialist in global news and entertainment as well as global communications. Its better know public persona deals with general entertainment and propaganda for the masses but it also specialises in information intelligence making good use of its local and regional media outlets, and as these are nominally 'independent' franchises it helps NEONET keep a clean sheet. Most corps run their own comms systems but NEONET is a master in this area and offers a whole range of services to those that can pay from helping harden systems to surveillance and penetration but never to the full extent of NEONETS own capabilities. No one likes them but everyone makes use of their services some time or another.

Well, if you don't mind. And I'm still learning this system so still figuring a lot of it out but here's the basic idea.

Application Name: "Jack B Nimble" Background: Spy Edges: Ghost and Masterful Expertise Goal: "Jack B. Nimble" fully admits that it's not his real name, making him a weirdly honest liar. While he keeps specifics to himself as much as he can, Jack appears to have the worst thing an operator can have if they expect to survive. A Conscience. You can easily see it in how he picks work for example, he is definitely taking morality into account when he picks jobs and his prices. He might even agree to work Pro Bono if the cause is good enough. It appears that at least generally his goal is to find some sort of peace and redemption for his past. Appearance: With dark hair and eyes, "Jack" usually carries himself like an easy-going guy but it's not hard to figure out that this is a lie. When not thinking about it he moves like a martial artist or ballet dancer, someone who knows how to attack and do it well. Has some chrome that assists with his carriage. Dresses like he's used to finer things in life and is getting used to having less money but is surviving. Backstory: "Jack B. Nimble" absolutely refuses to share large swathes of his past with anyone, but there are clues. He knows several languages but his speech patterns and what happens when he's distressed hints that his first language was probably French. Has admitted that he used to be a "Troubleshooter" for one of the big name megacorporations, though he doesn't say which one. Privy to too many of his former boss's dirty secrets to be allowed to survive, he came to Berlin as a possible hiding place to get lost among the people. Corwyn knows the real name of "Jack B. Nimble" from some of his past work for his former employer, and is technically blackmailing him with that information. Not that he's all that surprised, in his darker moments he's joked that he's done so many awful things that he's gone all the way around to developing a conscience again. That someone uses that information for their own advantage isn't exactly a shock. Fortunately, Corwyn so far mostly uses that information to get him to do things that help him soothe his conscience of his past anyway. A Major Gang: Geschwindigkeitskirche - "The Church of Speed". A go-gang most notorious for illegal street racing of various varieties from muscle cars to motorcycles to even foot races and parkour races on corporate property. Does set itself up to financially profit from things in their orbit like car theft or gambling. Obviously a pack of thrillseekers, but gets attention for their religious devotion to their hobby in a very real and literial sense. Many of the leaders of the Church of Speed really do seem to have developed a Zen-Buddhism-like religious approach to their activities where moving with as much speed as possible is akin to a meditative excercise. A Megacorp: Zurich-Orbital Gemeinschaftsbank. At a glance it appears to be one of the most boring megacorps in the world as it's essentially a bank that specializes in handling the finances of other megacorporations. Until you delve deeper and realize that they offer to cover *all* the finances of other megacorporations and everything that could imply. They have an entire arm of security forces specifically for helping other corporations bust worker's strikes for example. They are the reason many news outlets talk about Unions like they're terrorist organizations. There's rumors that their services even go as far as clandestine operations and assassinations, though obviously these rumors are largely unknown to the public and even then unproven.
