What level would new players start at, and what roles/characters are people already playing?

All characters are level 1 still, though soon to be level 2.
We have a hacker, a medtech, and...I guess kind of a face? I'm unsure what Charity's role would be. We could use some muscle, or anything really, since it's a partial sandbox.

Current predicament is we need to basically get into and out of a church-home-base run by "white supremacists" with data they had, while also erasing that data. So someone who could get our hacker in, or someone who could be a risky distraction.

Are stats rolled as normal? And if so, is it possible to roll in advance before I get too into chargen?
