Fifi Faure: Name: Fifi Faure Background: As a recent transfer from France, Fifi instantly drew the attention of her peers, thanks to her good looks, enchanting accent, and the incredibly gossip-hungry nature of teenagers. Though time has passed, she's managed to keep her spot as talk-of-the-school thanks to her innocent charm and sweet words. So what if she needs some help from her friends on her homework and lets her partners do all the work on group projects? She's the kind of girl you just can't say "no" to. Favorite Subject: Biology Hobbies: Antkeeping Extracurriculars: Tending to the school garden Personality: Fifi has built her reputation carefully. She's not nearly as incompetent as she seems, and could get through most of her classes with solid C's (or straight A's, in biology's case) if she was willing to put in the effort. Instead, she plays up her delicate disposition to draw in pity and infatuation, and convince her admirers to take care of her assignments for her. While this usually goes just as well as she plans, there are a few who have sniffed her out - but they have a hard time convincing anyone that such a sweet and innocent girl could have any kind of malicious intent. Her drive and passion is only truly evident in the extensive vivarium she's made out of the back of her closet, where she keeps an ant colony, started with a queen she caught herself. Feeding her formica friends is where she vents her frustrations with her false friends, both by furious ranting and by getting a little too much enjoyment out of watching her ants tear apart dead bugs. Dreams: For all her showmanship, Fifi just wants to graduate, never speak to any of her classmates again, and study myrmecology for the rest of her life. (Do NOT tell her that she needs to graduate from college in order to get into that field, and that this grift will be significantly more difficult there. She will not listen.) Insecurities: While her demure act does an excellent job of allowing her to breeze through school, she can't help but feel like it's going to come crashing down sometime soon. And when that happens, who will stay by her side? After all, no one knows the "real" her... Of course, she would never admit to putting on an act in the first place, let alone that it bothers her. Style: Like everything else about her presentation, Fifi's looks exagerrate her innocence; she wears plenty of pastels, lace, and simple jewelry. Clique: Fifi mostly hangs out with the popular crowd (to keep her reputation high and drown out suspicions of her true nature) and the nerds (easily swayed by female attention and pros at handling homework). Kaiju Form: Fifi's kaiju form is insect-like, featuring a thick, chitinous carapace covered in bright yellow warning stripes, a venomous stinger at the end of her elongated abdomen, and a set of small wings that, while too weak for true flight, allow her to hover malevolently. RP Sample: "Fifi?" With a small squeak, Fifi flipped around, nearly knocking over a bottle of glass-cleaner in the process. "Oh! Kadence!" "What are you doing?" Fifi had been crouched down, rummaging through the cabinet beneath their biology teacher's gecko enclosure. The gecko had hardly cared, but evidently, Fifi had been taking a little too long looking through it by human standards. Kadence was clearly suspicious, but Fifi knew that the biology TA had no reason to turn on her after one incident. Fifi could talk her way out of anything. Playing defense, she stared down at her feet, and said in a small voice, "Sorry, it's my turn to feed the gecko, and I can't find the..." She knit her brows together, feigning frustration to remember the word. "The little squirmy things? For the gecko to eat? I'm sure just misread the label, but..." "Oh, the mealworms! Don't worry." Kadence gave her a sympathetic smile, and stepped up to the cabinet herself. "It's always a real mess in there, let me look." Fifi eagerly made way for her and let her dig through the cabinet, knowing her task would be fruitless. "Huh, that's weird. We must have run out yesterday." "Really?" "Yeah. I'll let them know that we need more." She rose to her feet, and looked into the gecko enclosure, where the reptile had finally come out from its hide and was watching the two teenagers. "Sorry, little buddy, but you'll have to wait until tomorrow for your food. Good thing reptiles can go so long without eating, he probably won't even notice. How about you feed him next week, Fifi!" "Of course!" Fifi smiled to herself as she followed Kadence out of the biology room, oblivious to the fact that Fifi had slipped the can of mealworms into her own pocket - her ants would be getting a tasty treat tonight!

I'm curious where this story is going to take place. The kaiju and Sailor Moon influence makes me think Japan, but I'd like to know for sure.

Great question! The story is going to take place in a stereotypical American high school... in a world where giant monsters regularly attack. I'm not sufficiently up on Japanese teen culture to attempt that additional (albeit suitable) shift.

Posting for interest! Not 100% sure I'm in a place for more than one game right now, but I have to at least brainstorm a character because, uh... Well, it would feel wrong to have the username daikaiju and not at least consider joining a kaiju themed game.
