Little did her family know that not long after doing her "service" at the Temple, a band of Crusading Priests came through and their armor and drive to do good had an impact on her like no other. Seeing she wasn't ever going to be a devout priest, she was quickly put under the tutelage of one of the few Lady Paladins who followed Lathander, and the rest is as they say, history. She took to it like a duck to water, and threw in with a band of adventurers to go do some good in the realm. Dark deed or Dark event: RP Sample: More arrows thumped into her shield that she had over her head as she hunkered behind the upturned wagon where she and her fellow adventurers were taking cover. She looked behind her and noted the dozens of arrows stuck in the ground behind her. If anything was certain now, it was that they couldn't stay in this place much longer. "I've lost count, how many more arrows do those Goblins have before they run out?" She tried to start building morale with her comments, but wasn't sure how it would go under the circumstance. Someone commented that there was no way to know how many they had and she chuckled. She began to spin the slight attached to the short wooden staff around and then then yelled out to the Goblins, "Your mothers were all Orcs!", to which one Goblin yelled something back about her mother and a troll in common, though it was hard to understand all of it due to the accent. She looked over the top of the cart just enough to spot the one who said it. Someone else in the group yelled out that she shouldn't make them more angry as the hard us outnumbered two to one if not twice that. "Good. I was trying to see who the leader was, or at least one smart enough to know the common tongue as that would be one the others tended to follow or look up to. And now we know. Get ready to rush them on my lead" She let the sling bullet go, and it slammed into the Goblin's head, knocking it over. She dropped the sling staff and then rushed around the cart with a warrior's yell, drawing her broadsword as she knew her fellow adventurers would be behind her as she hoped to catch the Goblins holding bows when she started to slash them up.

Havent played 2e in awhile... i have all the books, more than whats on the site linked.. would love to run in an 2e aasimar paladin they are loads of fun, especially using options.

I saw mention of "possibly" using the complete series ... what about players options? More specifically, would you allow a Human Priest (From Players Options: Spells and Magic, along with the martial arts from the players options series/handbooks?Monk) in? or is it strictly PHB?

For now strictly PHB. I’ve only just started getting back into 2e myself so am limiting the sources for now….that said of this takes off then I certainly don’t want it to be the last 2e game that I run so I might open up other sources in time.

Their daughter Sariel had always been a handful from the moment that she took her first steps. She always went her own way, and lately that meant staying out late with friends rather than spending quality family time at home. The sound of footsteps racing down the stairs alerted him to Sariel's arrival, and she flung herself at him, enveloping him in another hug. He cherished the moment for it was just as likely that she would be ignoring him tomorrow, such were her moods which seemingly changed by the hour lately. Theren knew some might find his life too secure, too boring. He had earned this life though. Before he joined the Vale Guard and settled down, he had spent some time with a ragtag band of adventurers, fighting goblins, taking jobs that led him to new and exciting places. It had all been very exciting, but when he met Lia he had hung up the mantle of adventurer and taken a "real" job. Now this was the life that suited him, and nothing in the world, no power of the Nine Hells, could drag him away from it...
