Wow. Level 20 gestalt...

High level games are fun, Brolly, but the fact that you're willing to create a solid story is just as impressive. Which is motivating. Soooo for me 3 or 6 people doesn't really have that much effect on my decision to play. If you want to get on this fast, we can drop on it now. If you don't mind waiting, you could PM the other guys that have been involved and see where they are.

orangehatter- Sure, I'll read up more on it, which book? and also... what's the point of being a swordsage if you are unarmed lol i know there is a good reason i just like to bring that point up lol.

Tome of Battle. And yes, it seems strange, but it is a variant offered in the book to allow for a "spiritual" monk feeling. Swordsage is both a quick front-liner and can serve easily as the tactical/support side.

Regardless I'm having a knight/samurai gestalt or not... but if we have a gestalt game I may have to figure a prestige class or just keep him full breed lol... either way....i'll be a TANK!!! Can I assume that if we do follow gestalt rules as standard, that a prestige class takes up both sides of the progression?

yeah it would count as a single class progression

so for everybody to know it would count as a base class/base class , Prestige class... so you only earn one prestige class unless it only has 5 levels and then you chose another prestige class afterwards.... however I will make a deal. If more people would like to be more of a tank I will make up my sorcerer/cleric/ mystic theurge... and if it's gestalt.... then I'll do the sorcerer/cleric, mystic theurge as well.... just more powerful muahahahahaha

And my rolling question was for HP - do we roll HP or is it some different amount than a regular hit die (like 1d8 being 1d4+4, or simply 75%, or whatnot)?

well since we have you manwithdoor, orangehatter, and theomniadept, and myself, we could just have a gestalt game and you can be a mystic theurge on steroids by being a cleric/wizard or cleric sorcerer.... unless you would be interested in something else.... we also have our specialist (theomniadept) and a support (orangehatter) and my TANK. it's seriously going to be his nickname... lol TANK.... and if anybody asks what it is... Tactical And Notorious Killer MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... just imagin a full on level20knight/samurai.... could you just imagine the damage that could be dealt there lol
