I figured I'd keep things separated.
I did add something to that post that you may have some insight on.

Furry of blows works off of the flurry of blows table for the monk, you can attack that many times at the attacks posted in the monks table you don't get any additional attacks because you have a weapon (though as a monk you should be using your fists) you just designate which weapon your attacking with.
to further illustrate at lvl 8 a monks base attack bonus is +6/1 and his flurry of blows is +6/+6/+1/+1 if the monk did a standard attack he would use the standard +6/+1 bonus. if he had two weapons, and used a full attack but did not use flurry of blows he would attack at a +4/+4 and a -1/-1 (if he had two weapon fighting etc. etc.) now if a monk has two weapons and they are monk weapons (which are weapons designated as "monk") he could do a flurry of blows with those weapons at his standard +6/+6/+1/+1 bonuses the monk chooses what weapons he is using on what attack roll but it doesn't incur the normal penalties for two-weapon fighting. finally(getting at epelj's question I think) you don't get extra flurry of blows attack for using both hands or a second weapon you have flurry of blows and get lots of attacks and just allocates his attacks among the bonuses the monk receives. I should mention since Oz is now technically fourth lvl, and has a ki pool. he can spend 1 ki point as a swift action to give himself one extra attack at his highest bonus (again a lvl 8 monks highest bonus is +6) and he does this extra attack at the end of his flurry of blows. I have a lot to say about monks as over the last year I have gotten one from lvl 5 up to lvl 9 in regular tabletop so I learned about damned near everything I ever wanted to about a monk, especially their furry of bros I mean flurry of blows hope that helped dude! if not the monk srd is here for you to look over if needed http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core...y-of-Blows-Ex-

So, the only benefit of Flurry of Blows is that it gives me a bonus instead of a penalty on a full round attack?
Normal: Attack with both hands - take whatever penalties there are. Benefit: Attack with both hands, and take +2 for each attack (at my level). Is that about right? This is what confuses me.. Quote:
Although with my history of misinterpreting the rules, I'm sure this is not the case. I expect the true interpretation is that I can make ONE Unarmed STRIKE, then make ONE additional STRIKE (2 total movements), the second one being unarmed, or armed - as long as its a monk weapon. Yes?

Yes, the any combination of attacks means that you can use a monk weapon, your fist, you knees, your feet, your elbows, your forehead etc..
Meaning with flurry of blows you could use your fist and say your knee Last edited by Alexader; Jan 5th, 2013 at 01:34 PM. |

But not a fist, a knee, another knee, and a bite. Atleast, not yet.

So since I don't have much experience with Pathfinder, do I have to delcare a special attack in order to use Vital Strike? Also does the same apply for my blade skill Toppeling Strike (its a soulknife special ability that can be found in the SRD here.)

You have to declare a vital strike everytime you use the feat. and yes you also have to declare that you are using toppling strike as well basically you have to declare (to the GM) that you are using these abilities just incase an opponet we are fighting is immune or has bonues against those attack types.

Once battle is joined I can Enrage another six troops. So any elite melee fighters we can gather together should be brought to me.
