Tate nods in response First Mate's warning. "Rubbish attracts flies and rats." He mutters noncommittally as he glances at the stair.

When Olly turns away to administer healing to Simon, Tate decides to share his own opinion. "I doubt Simon will have much to say. If he was struck during that dark spell he won't not be able to point a finger. I'm sure Boris will be quick to point out he didn't actually see anything to poison anything he says with doubt." Tate scowls looking about ready to spit before glancing sidelong at the First Mate and thinking better of it.

"You're sure we can't just toss him overboard?" He asks rhetorically not expecting any answer.
