The death laser that hurt a lot was a reflex negates, not a reflex half, so it doesn't help from evasion. It's one of those attacks that deals inordinate damage, but makes the caster feel really dumb if it misses. Also, you're totally going to murder it in response next turn, so just consider it a measure of "kill this guy first".

They're normal attacks, which is why they kept whiffing.

Guess which idiot gave himself a keen hammer! That's right, it was meeeee! Changing that to Thundering for future rounds, so it's now a potentially blinding and deafening hammer. Hardly accurate, but if it works it's nasty.

But keen makes your hammer especially... sharp? ...

I would complain about a Thundering weapons lack of subtlty, but... well... That isn't exactly our strong suit anyway.

It only thunders on a crit and it's a x3 weapon. Besides, this is Olva. Full plate, glowing weapon, no skills.

Unfortunately, it seems that the more attacks I give Kateryn the more chances she gets to roll poorly. Of her seven attack rolls this combat, the highest she's gotten is 11.

Also, I'm aware that my post isn't fantastic. I'm struggling to even write properly, though, so you'll have to excuse my sloppy grammar and spelling.

Also Moridain, if you wouldn't mind organizing your attacks like Muggins does? It doesn't have to be fancy TT tags, but some measure of putting them together. Your alpha strike is a bit of a spew, you see.
