The Ancients Those are the founder of the ten great ancient houses of Wyzlar. They are contemporary of the first elvish queen. Today their descendants are still members of the council of the ancient, a counterpower to the queen. Imperialists The imperialists, also known as the loyalists or the old guard, are fascists who obsess with the old ways of the ancients. They wish to restore the glory of the elvish empire that dominated the entire continent and exploited the other races as slaves for centuries. They are a political organization with a couple of members of the council that push their agenda, Duchess Jadya and Duke Maerick. Their most extremist followers are occasionally causing trouble and disturbance across the country and frequently go head to head with the followers of Dareth in violent skirmishes. While not disloyal to the crown, they are petitioning for the next king or queen to honour the old ways.

Dareth Dareth the obedient, also known as Dareth the vengeful by his detractor was originally a human god that quickly gained popularity in the heart of those who were wronged by the elves in ancient time. That religion spread over time into the non-elf population of Wyzlar and quickly became a scourge for the nobles leading the country. Dareth's followers have misogynist and anti-monarchist dogmas, a threat to the stability of the realm. Their religion is still tolerated, the nobles are afraid of having an uprising out of control on their hands if they try to shut down the popular religion. The demographic in Wyzlar is currently about 3 to 1 in favour of the non-elf population, making the elves a minority in their own country. At least a quarter of the total population in Wyzlar are accepting Dareth as their god, the majority are from modest backgrounds with little to lose.

Monarchists The Valrynadya Dynasty has endured nearly 5000 years. Worshiped still by the majority of the elvish population as quasi gods, the family is still the rightful rulers of Wyzlar. That being said, they are been weakened since the death of the last queen's assassination, the rise of Dareth's followers and the increasing pressure from the imperialists who are blocking the ascension of the heir to the throne, Princess Maryadelle Valrynadya. The throne is empty, and the regent is acting as a mediator on the council of the ancients until the political stalemate is resolved. The landscape had never been that much divided in the country.
